DDDEnterprises:Thank u Sir. Let's cultivate a bit of what we eat. We shouldn't all be interlocking the floors of our compound all through..we should endeavour to leave ground for gardening activities |
One of my scent leave plant growing. I noticed scent leaves love u to care for them like Babies so as to grow well...I had to massage this one two days back and till the soil around it for it to start bringing out it leaves

Omoluabiii:Aboki keep same energy |
Hello Nairalanders The days are becoming hard and expensive each passing day. One would wonder why it’s so. With pockets of violence and herders destroying farmlands with their cows which has prevented so many farmers from cultivating in their farms...one wouldn’t be surprised on why food prices keep skyrocketing. A big bag of semo as at yesterday goes for 5k currently,...Gari is a no go area. Most people have resorted to using Alibo and Corn starch for their soups. Now this post sets out to encourage every nairalander to create a garden in his or her abode. It’s good if one subsistently cultivates that which he consumes at home..instead overstretching our farmers in this hard times. How about having a garden where u plant pepper, okra, tomatoe, ugu, garden eggs, watermelon etc Do u know that even if a piece of land isn’t available in ur backyard u can use cement bags or even abandoned tyres to create a mobile garden for yourself. Now if u are a proud gardener let’s show Nairanders how sweet it is to create one and enjoy the little things it produces. My pics below plus d harvested items from d garden |

Omoluabiii:Aboki keep same energy! |
Omoluabiii:Aboki keep same energy o and stop foaming in d mouth |
Afriqan:Tell ur pple to continue keeping their onions...ur pple loot anything that belongs to d Igbo man in d north all in d name of reprisal attacks...this ur energy won’t be found on that matter. Igbos don’t behave in such manner...igbos don’t loot pples items during crisis rather it’s ur pple that do all these things repeatedly at d mention of any unrest in d north. I have never seen this kind of energy. Now onions issue has come up everyone suddenly remembers that Jesus said do not convert ur neighbors onions ![]() Igbos have been pushed to d wall for so long... truck load of onions and these Hausas are going crazy. Who will return our lost crops? Lost billions spent on our farmlands the Fulanis used their cows to damage? Who will repay the Igbo man who lost his goods to looters in d north due to reprisal attacks? |
Omoluabiii:Aboki na Abeg leave all this poem you’re writing. Keep same energy when those hungry vile Hausa Fulani youths loot Igbo biz in d north all in d name of religious and political crises. Even during end sars so many Igbo biz were looted and burnt to ashes...why? Wetin concern Igbo man biz with end sars matter? These guys send cows to eat crops and scatter farm yards worth billions of nairaland. Morality polices were no where to b found. Nobody has monopoly of madness. They can keep d onions pls. |
So what happened to this project? How’s is it going Snipes |

I don’t get u pls U mean this isn’t pawpaw plant? In fact wats d difference Pls a pic of ur papaya farm pls |
Emempaul:Wow pls I need more explanation on this variety Sir. I still have the dried seeds with me stored. The pawpaw was so delicious that I vowed to see how I can propagate the fruit in my compound. That’s d result of it in d nursery...at first I thought it was weeds because from research I learned pawpaw seeds takes time to germinate reason why I was a bit skeptical when I saw those sprouts. Pls more insight on this specie...duration of growth? Time of fruiting? etc |
Afriqan:Same energy has never been seen when it comes to looting of Igbo businesses down north,,rather what we see is a deafening silence....my point! |
For d past three years farm lands in d South have been continuously invaded and farmers killed thereby slowing down farming activities leading to serious food crises in d South...no one said anything,,not even d voices from d north could condemn such food war looming. Farmers can no longer farm peacefully in their farms down south without fear of being attacked with sledge hammers, axes, cutlasses, knifes, guns thereby culminating to what we are experiencing now,,,,food prices have soared to more than a 100% as they used to be. People down south are complaining bitterly of how expensive food items are now. Morality police everywhere on this thread will forget how painful it was looting an Igbo mans shop during any crises or reprisals in d north. Check out d last end sars reprisal in Abuja...u remember how our brothers and sisters biz were broken into and goods worth millions of money looted by Hausa Fulani youths. Just keep same energy pls |
Omoluabiii:well done I can see u care so much.pls tell them o. But remember to keep this same level of concern and energy when Igbo businesses are being looted by young hungry vile Hausa boys during crisis in d north. |
Afriqan:Hello just keep this same energy when Igbo shops are looted during crisis in d north by youths in d north. I highly condemn looting of any form but let’s call out bullshit anytime anywhere |
Gucciboy1:You sure? Nah this what water melon leaves looks like...this one just started growing without a planter...I guess the seed was hiding in the chicken manure I bought for my garden...as u can see it’s already crawling Pic not so clear...I had to zoom

Another google pic of pawpaw sprout
|
On further research to see what pawpaw sprouts looks like I saw a near replica of my current plant on google. Pics below
|
Okay guys since no one could get on about that plant. What was actually planted in those bags were pawpaw seeds. But right now I am not understanding what that plant looks like. They no where look like pawpaw sprouts. I did the planting of pawpaw seeds two weeks ago after munching on a very sweet smooth smallish pawpaw I bought from a seller. And I decided to plant the seeds in a bags. I did that because I wanted to monitor the sprouts if eventually they germinate and also prove some nairalanders wrong that pawpaws can also best be in nurtured from nurserys ![]() Now what I am seeing sprouting looks like beans, black eyed peas, weed, groundnut etc |
Kaybenny:Try again na I really want to be so sure pls bfor I make a mistake of uprooting it as a weed |
Honestly, still wondering what kind of plant or let me say weed that sprouts with its buttocks first Very confusing plant |
OKOATA:We don’t eat beans in our house neither do we buy ![]() The clue is that what I planted there doesn’t even concern the legumes nor grains family |
WoundedLamb:Lol...e don tey I see black eyed peas for my life. Pls try again...ejor Note: what I planted isn’t in d legumes family. Hope this helps |
DDDEnterprises:Lol are u kidding me.Pls I said farmers should help not philosophers |
Kaybenny:Resemblance of bean or gnut plant but none of d above. I didn’t plant legumes I just need a smart farmer who can give a clue of what this plant is before I will uproot thinking na weeds be that. |
Kaybenny:Go away I didn’t plant bean there..u don’t know jack. ![]() |
