Going through most SM comments concerning Anambra elections. There are noticeably major complaints being reeled out by the Anambra pple which seems to affect the pple of that state. Will the incoming governor make matters worse or better? Well,it’s left for the next 100years in office of the INEC and pple acclaimed winner of the election.

I quite agree with FG

The federal government has blamed Boko Haram, ISWAP, bandits, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and Yoruba Nation agitators for increasing food scarcity across Nigeria.

Minister of Defence, Bashir Magashi, says the prevalence of these groups has adversely affected food security thereby posing a new dimension of threats to the country.

“Regrettably, the prevalence of these threats has continued to endanger not only national security and economic growth but also food security.

“In particular, food security has been adversely affected with the attendant rise in the prices of foodstuff across the country which portends a new dimension of threat,” he said.

Mr Magashi said this at the opening of a retreat for Defence Advisers/Attaches Conference, organised by the Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA) on Monday in Abuja.

He said the attacks by Boko Haram and ISWAP in the North-East and banditry and herder/militia in the North-West and Central posed serious threats to Nigeria.

Not so true about the ibos especially Anambra pple

I have noticed this set of ibos called Anambra to be highly politically sophisticated and that’s why most of us from other regions are really interested in the outcome of the election.
This pple vote individual and not party. The grassroot structure of the Anambra politics is quite strong and well informed. In fact the three major political parties really did a grassroot awareness for their pple. And on the other hand the pple already know what they want no matter how u sugarcoat your prospects for the state.

Left for APGA, Anambra pple would have dumped them because they really took d state four years backward with the drunkard of a governor called Willie. But APGAs saving grace and only smart thing they did was fielding Soludo knowing that they as a party really fuccked up.

Anambra is still behind in terms of working infrastructure. The last I visited, your state capital was looking like a pigsty bad roads here and there

I don't know what you meant by redemption. Alhambra state has the largest km of constructed roads in the country. Yes, ahead of Lagos and PH. Alhambra has always perform favorably well in other development indices. Obiano might not have performed to the level of Peter Obi. Still, Anambra is the still the best state in the southeast.

For Anambrarians, it is a safe bet to vote APGA than PDP and APC.

I think we should all focus on Abia and other southeastern states. Anambra is going relatively well.

Is it d dilapidated roads?
Is it the state capital decadence?
Is the spate of thuggery and touting in Onitsha and other cities?
Is it the growing level of insecurity in the state especially the state capital?
