Something is seriously wrong with the age number quoted for him.... 1968 ,- 2021 = 53years....

Meaning he was almost 30years old in the '90s when he was acting primary school studenthuh.

PoliticsRe: If Not Infrastructure, Then What - Femi Adesina by Zenithpeak(m): 11:17am On Aug 13, 2021
Omoluabi1stborn:
For once I agree with Femi.
Without infrastructure no nation can move forward.
All this Health, Power, IT its also infrastructure you'll use to
The machines and equipments are also infrastructures

About the loans, you can actually use loan to build an economy provided it has a reasonable return.

That's why people take loan to fund a project you can't have the capitals
In fact a reasonable business man won't use his capital and personal Money to fund a long term business, instead he obtains a loan.
As much as I agreed with your points, I have a little reservation somewhere along the line.

Do you know it is possible to have those infrastructures listed above and our condition as a people remain the samehuh

Smart people running the affairs of a country would rather borrow money to make their economy stable and strong. Engage people from within and without to come and establish reasonable businesses in the country and also enact good political/socio-economic policies for ease of business.

From the revenue generated through tax and other sources, loans will be paid in tranches, other needed infrastructures will come live and people will have focus for their lives, crime rates will be reduced and insecurity will be kept bay.

Country grows with a deliberate effort and good long term planning. This present administration run foul of every growth indicies.
PoliticsRe: If Not Infrastructure, Then What - Femi Adesina by Zenithpeak(m): 11:02am On Aug 13, 2021
Building infrastructure without good economic blueprints to put the infrastructure to utmost advantage of the citizenry is a share waste of time and scarce resources.

Build the economy, a virile economy no doubt, will bring about world class infrastructure. We cannot remain a consuming nation and expect a better standard of living.

Your account may not be totally correct.
There was nothing like almost motionless. Austin Eguavoen was the first to get close to him and as at then he still told him " kporom doctor, kporom doctor". He did not die on the pitch.
Okwaraji never left the pitch alive... He was confirmed dead on arrival at the hospital. I saw the match live on NTA....

A little correction on my previous post.

I remember he stood up briefly and then fell down again and that was the end. He never got the chance to be resuscitated.

I also remember that NTA stopped the transmission shortly before he was taken to the waiting ambulance.

My account is not far from what actually happened.

Nigeria don cast no be today.
Same thing happened to erisken but he was saved due to a good emergency health system put in place .
It was near impossible to revive him that day... He contended for an aerial ball with an opponent and dropped down almost motionless and was the end. He couldn't make it to the hospital.

Lies, every patriot will not like people like you discrediting the army, you guys always shout death to Nigeria, we are not the one shouting Nigeria must die, it is you guys. i dont know why nairaland tolerate you people. if you hate Nigeria, ignore it. stop discrediting it, it is ignorant to think Nigerians will love you for abusing their country. You are not Nigerian, leave us alone. this topic is about Nigeria army, not biafra. Stop behaving like the an enemy of Nigeria everywhere, its not healthy for your soul. know your enemies, Nigeria is not your enemy.

lastatica, insulting a nairalander.
Please go through all of my posts since inception and tell my kind of person... I belong to the group of nigerians who believe "Truth exhort a nation but sin (lie) is a reproach to every people"

Let us face the reality, you people join hands with the destroyer of our country and you are always shouting patriotism everywhere, whereas; things are going from bad to worse everyday. "Shall we continue in sin and expect grace to abound" huh

This system we are running is bad and until we are all sincere with each other and prepare to restructure the country. "If the foundation be spoil, what can the righteous do" until we honestly go back to the drawing board, restructure the country and let individual units develop in their own way.

We can not supporting lies and propaganda and mistake it for being a patriot.

BusinessRe: Reno Omokri: Dangote Was 25th Richest Person On Earth, Why He Dropped To 117th by Zenithpeak(m): 9:00am On Aug 11, 2021
He was 25th on frobes list when Nigeria has economic blueprints and the ease of doing business was guaranteed. Not too bad Naira to Dollar exchange rates.

But under this current administration, economic situation is directionless! Naira is at its all time weakest low against other reasonable currencies of this world with tendencies to even go down the more in coming months.

I remember during former president Goodluck Jonathan administration, whenever he's traveling to any country, he always travelled with Nigeria top businessmen to explore business opportunities in another land to further enhance our local economy by international bi-lateral agreement in trade and investment.

Obtaining visas to other countries was becoming easier, sanctions were being lifted, debts were being forgiven, Nigeria economy is becoming a force to recon with.

At that time, the worth of Nigeria made businessmen billionaires was rising fast in the international community and many other businessmen were also aspiring to climb the ladder.

But all the sudden, the spirit of Lie Muhammed took the centre space and Buhari became the President and that is the onset of our new realities.

Everything we thought we have gained under the imperfect administration of former president Goodluck Jonathan was eroded within a twinkling of an eye and Nigeria became international beggar country once again!

Our international businessmen billionaires led by Dangote Aliko and their businesses were caught up in the web of lack of economic blueprints and bad governance policies.... SMH.

If we are running a viable business environment in Nigeria, Dangote, even with the albatross of the ongoing construction of his mega refinery around his neck should not be this down and backward... but no thanks to this administration and their incompetencies in all spheres of human endeavors.

Lmaoo if they report death of soldiers now you won't call it audio
@bolded: NA themselves will always deny the death of Nigerian soldiers even in the face of obvious evidences. They know the people behind the activities of Bokoharam otherwise know as bandits but they lack the will to tackle the situation from the source. They prefer the deaths of young soldiers and the citizens they sworn to protect so as to remain in the good book of the people that appointed them.

Like you didn't get it huh... Look back into the antecedents of Nigeria Army since 2015 especially during the reign of Gen Tukur Burantai till now and tell yourself the obvious truth. No country can be great by all these insincerity.
Everything they are doing, they are doing it to please the president without serious commitment to the masses.
