Some cultures especially in India wants a virgin to prove good moral upbringing |
Congratulations: Pills Now Available To Fake Your Virginity On Your Wedding Day A new product called ‘i-virgin’ has been said to make women fake their virginity on wedding night. The controversial product consists of small capsules containing a mysterious “blood-powder” that allegedly imitates human blood. All the user has to do is insert one of these pills in the vagina a couple of hours before the planned intercourse to fake virginity. The producer adds that the “high quality blood” completely dissolves, posing no health danger to the user. In certain regions of India, the need to pass virginity checks is considered a life-or-death situation, with relatives of the groom inspecting the bed sheets after the newlyweds’ wedding night. If the bride fails the test her family must pay compensation, or in extreme cases endure a series of trials, like walking on hot embers or staying underwater for a period of time without coming up for air. Many have expressed concern that in a country where a woman’s virginity often determines her worth, a product like i-virgin just encourages centuries-old taboos. i-virgin capsules were reportedly being sold in India for 3,600 rupees ($50) per pack, but at the time of this writing, the controversial product seems to have been removed from the store. ~The Gazette

(2) Federal Polytechnic Daura (3) Airport Project in Daura (4) 50 Bed maternity clinic at Daura General Hospital Katsina (5) Continuation of 10MW Wind Power project in Lambar Rimi (6) Kano – Daura Rail line extension (7) Project-MINE (Special Economic Zone) ( Completion of National Library Branch – Katsina.(9) Completion of Sabke Water Project (10) Zobe regional water project (N12.5Bn). (11) Dualization of Kano-Katsina Road. (12) Refinery – Katsina (13) Innovation Hub – in Katsina Institute for Information Management (14) General improvement in Electricity Supply in the state. Other benefits but few to mention are (1) 51 DSS cadet officers slots given to Katsina state and Lagos with almost twice population got 7. (2) 100, 000 Katsina rice farmers who benefit from Anchor Borrower Scheme and were supplied with agricultural inputs which include fertilizer, insecticides, herbicides, seedlings, water pumping machines, sprayers and organic fertilizer inter alia. (3) 400 Katsina women who benefited from Aisha Buhari's Cash Transfer. The logic is simple. If in just four (4) years tenure, Atiku Abubakar will do same in Adamawa what President Buhari did at Katsina state, is it not to our gain? What comes to many people's mind is that would Atiku Abubakar then as a president replicate what Buhari did as he was a vice president for eight years ( and have "not done anything" for his state? Yes he will and even do more! Here is why: first he now knows very well that when one is elevated to a certain position in life, the very first thing one is to do is to remember his own (home). Second, he was only a vice president whose powers then where limited as to what he can do. Many still do not understand this very well. As a president now, he will be the one completely in charge and pulling the strings. Third is accessibility to him. His close aides and associates will be from the state. Then there is our mother Hajiya Titi Abubakar who have built a vast network across the state at the "other room." That, just, is a gain to us.The truth is that I am afraid that after Atiku Abubakar, we may never have a chance to have someone from our dear state in the class of Atiku Abubakar to run for the office of the president. Not in the nearest future. We cannot feign ignorance to the benefits a state gain as a result of their own becoming a president. That is why this is a lifetime opportunity for us and we must grab it with two hands. Under Atiku's presidency, Adamawa state is going to witnessed an unprecedented development in all areas. Investors will be rushing to invest in the state thereby creating job opportunities apart from slots we will be given from FG. Kiri dam will operate at full fledged. Adamawa state university will be upgraded and courses like medicine, law and engineering courses offered in the university. The list is endless and that is why we must vote for Atiku Abubakar as President this Saturday.
