I remembered you congrats on your medical call. Your testimony is just like me friend, he was also denied 3xs and got it at the fourth attempt. What school you heading to?

Stopover is 7 or 8 hrs, not very sure. Sure you can PM me wouldn't mind a travel buddy tho there is Internet service throughout the flight.

Lol I'm talking about how long it took them to call me for medicals. Submitted sept 29th (paper route) and was called for medicals nov 11th. Did my medicals at asaju the following week. Still waiting on news from the embassy

My application was actually submitted SEPTEMBER 30th by my agent. I used company sponsorship, different surnames. I still remember how jadapinkett13 and chrigo battled it out on whether I stand a chance to even be called for medicals or not. Jadapinket13 sounded so discouraging and chrigo was so encouraging, I kept faith! At the end of the day, God knows best!! To Chrigo I say thank you and God bless U. The beauty of life sometimes does not only lie on how happy you are, but how happy/encouraged you make other people. To all the beautiful people on this thread, thanks for all your countributions. All those awaiting medics/trv...urs is settled by God.

My medics came in exactly, 2months and 6days after submission. Lambton college - human resource management - Jan 2014.

Congrats , sharply go do your medicals. . Mine was one month and 13days. Sometimes I dont understand this people

Dont be deceived! The embassy attends to cases once they have exceeded the average processing time once your case is made known to them on tuescay or thursday by 7am. If you have inquiries to make, you can still go but all u get is a phone call wit d answer they have. Most answers they give u are on the site.

It is wel! Dont lose hope. I almost withdrew my application at a point but a friend adviced me to be patient and prayerful. Alot goes on in tne embassy you cant tell. What stopped them from issuing me d visa since october which was d due date? Peeps patience and prayers and we will all get to Canada.

My friend stormed the embassy today and she was given her medical instructions. So peeps lets keep praying for more medicals and trv news . She submitted her application on the 11th of August via paper route.

chidinmaaa: I think she should tell the security what transpired and how the line went off. She should tell the security she wants to retrieve her passport. They will tell her what to do. I think she has to write an application letter right there. They will even give a plain sheet. I meet a lady d last time too. All she did was tell d security then dey told her how to go about it. Hello... would like to pick your brain. A friend of mine went to the embassy on Tuesday and was asked to fill the form so someone will submit it for her on thursday cos she came late. She got a call frm the embassy this morning saying they still working on August application. The thing is .... she needs her passport so she can travel for her bros convocation in malaysia which takes place 1st week in dec. The problem is she tried explaining this to the woman but the line cut off because of network. Do you think she should wait for the lady at the embassy to call back?
Is it advisable to retrieve ones passport and submit it back?
Do you have an idea on the process of retrieving ones passport ?
PS... she's still at the embassy

kjbobo: Not true bro...firstly what do you mean by failing medical test?it's not a pass or fail exam?secondly...it depends on ailment...people who had STDs were placed on regimen and thereafter issued visa...I got to know of a woman who was HIV Positive...her application was put on hold....they can't tell you aren't a bonfide student when you are medically challenged especially terminal ailment...they will tell the person eventually and be advised to seek help..,those that I know that have been told "not bonafide" had issuestate with results from school...couldn't produce certificate...and those diseases are mostly terminal.....cancer,AIDS...or communicable...TB

I beg to differ. .. I have used Ethiopia airline before and I had a very horrible horrible experience.
