This is really great news ! I also applied on June 5. I haven't heard any news yet but I'm more hopeful now. Thanks for sharing.

Mehn....Reading the comments here....i guess i should just forget about mine for now. I submitted on June 5 for myself and 2 kids. Already bought tickets for July 31st (though refundable with a fee). I've never experienced this kind of wait for visa, it is just unfair.

Dear OP,
I feel your pain. I'm also a mother of two. My boobs were still quite firm after I had my daughter, but my son finished them,literarily. What I've got left is sagging, flat, downward-pointing pair. The good part for me though is that my hubby doesn't mind. He still loves them as ever and literarily begs to go down low. I always go out in push-up bras but I can't wear anything to sleep.

My advise to you will be to try some of the exercises people have suggested but most importantly have a chat with your husband about it. In the meantime, try as much as possible not to feel bad about their new shape. Think of it as the price of motherhood.
Best wishes.

@ op

I used implanon after my first baby but my only issue with it was that i added 15kg in 8months, so I had it taken out. Then i used copper T for almost 3 yrs. I didn't gain any more weight but it was difficult to shake off what I already gained with implanon. The only downside with copper T was that my period was damn too heavy. I lived with it until I took it out to conceive my son. After my son, my doctor introduced me to Mirena. I've had it for almost 2 yrs and it's heavenly. No weight gain, no mood swings, no heavy period....in fact the period didn't show up at all for about the 11 months but I spotted for about 3 months after putting it. Some of my friends have had different experiences with Mirena e.g. Developed skin condition, mood swings e.t.c I suggest you speak with your doctor. It's different strokes for different folks.

The things women go through...

Oga Lawyer,

I just bought a plot of land around Ojodu (Ogun state side) for 12.5m, paid for with my entire savings plus small bank loan. The land has a C of O which has been verified and we also signed deed of assignment. We have initiated the process of getting Governor's consent. However, there are many groups of people asking for money; Baale, Omo onile, community, area boys. Altogether they want 1.5m which sounds ridiculous to me, i can't even afford it. They said the money includes foundation, decking, roofing e.t.c. but i only want to fence now. I'm about to enter into negotiation with them, how much is a fair deal for these people considering the value/location of the land?

Thanks.

@poster

You've been well advised but, have u bothered to ask your wife how she copes with similar urge ? Abi she be Van Damme ?

Women tend to be a lot more in control of their sexual urge even in the face of temptation. They have a lot more at stake than men.
Romance / Re: How Do You Overcome Temptation? by Zimex: 7:22am On Jun 16, 2010
@Poster, i'd say send the girl away now (not to your mother). Since you have thought of having sex with her, it'll most likely continue even when your wife comes back.

I amazed that a woman would leave her husband with a matured female househelp alone in the house and travel abroad.

- Don't tell your friend not to marry
- Don't tell your friend not to build a house
- Don't tell your friend not to buy a car

Business / Re: Will Sanusi Liquidate Any Of The Rescued Banks by Zimex: 3:03pm On Feb 19, 2010
Tmoni:

@Poster,

By funds, do u mean cash deposits in the affected banks or stock holding in this banks?
Well, CBN guaranteed that no deposit holder will lose their funds so thats all we have to contend with, also NDIC insures you up to a certain limit (cant remember now),

Personally, i think it will be throwing the baby out with the bath water if SLS liquidates the banks, most likely i think we might see a senario where this banks are acquired by other financial institutions including all assets and liabilities,

So, i would advise your friend that if its deposits he has in these banks and he is very much uncertain about the future then he prolly has to come to naija to move them to other banks,

@doctor
the jury is still out on SLS, if these whole banking stuff ends as it stands now, we will award him a huge F9

The limit is really low, it was 50k not sure if they've changed it. I won't advise anyone to even think about NDIC insurance in making a decision.

See, he is not likely to change, they rarely do. Can you live the rest of your life with this attitude and prolly it getting worse? If your answer is no, then you need to walk now. Don't marry him on the hope that he is going to change.
