I applied for a priority visa with my son and husband as dependants. We had our biometric on the 30th of July 2018. On the 6th of August, I got a mail that my baby's passport is ready for collection. I picked his passport and he was given the visa. The problem now is that my passport and that of my husband is not ready. Am really worried because today is the 14th working day since after my biometric and am yet to hear from them.

I had my tb test today. Am just a little bit worried because on the tb certificate given to me, the box for chest x ray was ticked abnormal as a result of spina bifida occulta. Although there was no trace of tuberculosis. Please has anyone had this kind of experience before? Will it affect my visa? Am going on tetfund scholarship, I pray and hope this visa goes through. @Justwise

Does it matter if I didn't receive any text or mail after my visa interview? Most of my friends got text messages a day after their interview telling them their applications have been forwarded to the British High Commission

Didn't get any text or call either. But as soon as the people I was interviewed d same day with told me they got the text. I went immediatly and got my visa

spikes C: In my humble opinion, explain this to your school, they will probably ask you to pay the rest and they will update the CAS. I heard it reflects to UKBA.

I paid my remaining school fees few days before my 28 days reached and I still got my visa. Just pay d balance as soon as possible and appeal to ur school for another CAS letter

From what I'm seeing, I'm guessing same school I'm going to.. SouthWales? Yes/No? ... Anyway, the best time to travel depends on if your housing is sorted... First week september will be ideal if your housing is not yet sorted. My own opinion though.

Please when is d best date to travel to UK. My visa is open from 25th of july but my school resumes on the 23rd of Sept and the international week starts on the 16th of Sept(international week is when the school takes new students on a tour round UK. Thanks for ur reponse.

I did my interview on the 4th of July but haven't heard anything from them. today is the 17th working day and still didn't hear from them.

Am happy to be in this forum. Pls I have a question. My full name is Okeke Chika Veronica but my waec result bear just Okeke Chika V. I don't know if that will affect my visa apllication. Thanks for ur assistance.
