Webmasters / Re: Joomla FREE Training On Nairaland Live!!! by ZinoFego: 5:26pm On May 27, 2015
Welcome. What you need is a file sharing extension. That'll handle all the files from you/other users, from when those files were listed or uploaded to when they're downloaded or called up to be viewed. Search is part of the functions of such extensions.

This URL (http://demo.rsjoomla.com/rsfiles.html) is a file managing component RSFiles that you can install into your Joomla website for you to manage your files.

http://SpringWebHost.com accepts First Bank direct bank deposit and ATM Card Online Payment via InterSwitch.

Chimarto:
You're confuse right? you don't have to. what I mean is, which Domain registrar in Nigeria accept Direct Bank deposit via any of the following banka First Bank, Diamond, Access, UBA, fidelity, keystone, Ecobank.

my #Verve forked up "You must Register for the Interswitch Safetoken Service Before You Can Use The Service"

Don't even mention GTB because the distance of it from my locality is like trekking from Also Rock to Medina #Teamtrekkers

Business / Re: In Urgent Need Of Business Ideas For Rented Office Space!!! by ZinoFego: 2:36pm On May 21, 2015
He paid for the office, see the text in bold below your quote.

zodo2rule:
Anyways I feel he could do consulting from there or sublet the space if he cannot come up with a good idea in time. Consulting has to be in an area he is comfortable with. In all of this the size of the office space would also determine what can be done there.

softwhispers:
Hello fellow NLs,
Here is the problem:
A friend inherited a sizeable sum of money and decided to "save" it by renting an office space in a bustling area in lkeja, Allen Avenue, to be specific.
The office space is standard and will be fitted with AC units. Total cost of securing and the space and giving it a face lift, was in excess of #1.5.
Now the rent is already counting (since March) and he is yet to start off.
Please, kindly drop suggestions in something profitable and standardized which he can start right away. He is business-inclined and would favor any legitimate business.
l have received very valuable advice from NL before and am confident this time wont be an exception.
Many thanks, in anticipation.

Webmasters / Re: Webmasters/web Designers: Beware Of Smartweb Hosting! They Are Scammers! by ZinoFego: 1:26pm On May 05, 2015
Attention: adewasco2k, Slyr0x, Seun.

This thread is highly misleading. It was started on Jan 05, 2011 but the latest comments in 2015, it's obvious that www.smartwebng.com.ng is credible. I even took time off to see its website and I think, it is doing well.

You guys should either delete this thread or make necessary changes to reflect the present image of the said firm.

Thank you.

How to hide a menu item when user logs in

The Joomla Access Control functionality allows you to easily set items which should be displayed to guests, but hidden from logged in users.

If you go to the User Manager options you will see a setting for the default group that registered users are placed, you will also see a default group for guests (non logged in users). The latter group can be used to create a new group at the same level in the ACL tree for guests.

1. Create a Guest Group in the User Manager
2. Add a new Guest Viewing Access Level
3. Change the default guest group in the User Manager options

Assign modules or menu links to the new group
To hide menu items or module, what you will to do is assign any menu link or module to the newly created Guest level and because it is at the same level in the ACL tree as Registered anything assigned to guest will not be visible to registered users.

30 Days shocked shocked shocked shocked

See the screenshots.

whogoscam:

Less than 3 months about a month or less according to one website i checked

Vinshu:

With all due respect, your comments does not help the company or change the facts stated by the Op. The OP attached relevant screenshots to prove his claim. So you acting like he is not making sense or he has no case only makes viewers believe you work with the company and trying to whisk your way out.
Instead of advising the OP on how to go about getting his money back, you are saying it is false. Then it is better you do not comment at all so as not to worsen the issue for the company as their reputation is on the line. I checked their domain it is just 3 months old and if you google GoldXService the first thing you see is the Nairaland Fraud thread(This thread) so you can imagine how disgraceful this may be for the company in regard. And i guess no one has used the service to even stand in for them
Who knows the next big forum this op of a guy is going to
