DatNiggaDaz:That's not the context of what he said. I watched the entire event live. What he implied is that Fubara hasn't helped Ijaw people as expected. More like "you that's an Ijaw haven't done so well for your people and you're stirring tribal sentiment so Ijaw will support you. Are you truly Ijaw?" |
PHIPEX:Are you more Igbo than me? I don't take offense over insults because it shows how you were raised up with abuses so much it's acquired traits BUT go through the gazette signed by Lt-Col Gowon to release Chief Awolowo. Evidence are there. He was jailed in Calabar prison under Eastern region yet none of the coup plotters could secure his release or send signal or message to other soldiers to secure his release. You can't hamp on IBB's book for every credibility. Obienu mentioned was a soldier directly under Lt-Col Gowon's command and that's to let you know that not all Igbo officers supported the coup.
|
PHIPEX:Stop lying!!! The January 15th 1966 coup was led by Majors Chukwuma Kaduna Nzeogwu, Emmanuel Ifeajuna, Timothy Onwuategwu, Chris Anufuro and Wale Ademoyega (the only non Igbo). All them killed except Major Wale Ademoyega. Virtually everyone killed are from other tribes except Arthur Unegbe (quarter master general in charge of amour) who was killed because he refused to give them access to the amours. Those killed are Tafawa Balewa, Ladoke Akintola, Ahmadu Bello and his wife Hafsah, Col Ademulegun and his 8th month old pregnant wife by Owuategwu, Chief Okotie Eboh, Brigadier Maimalari, Lt-Col Pam, Lt-Col Kur Mohammed, etc are all none Igbos and their killers are Igbo officers. Worse still the, these predominant Muslim politicians and officers were killed during Ramadan. The coup was given an ETHNIC COLOURATION because while the coup was led by Igbo officers, it targeted political leaders of other tribes only and their officers. For instance, after the coup, Nwafor Orizu an Igbo man who was the Senate President became the acting President while President Nnamdi Azikiwe was abroad. Nwafor Orizu handed power to another Igbo man Maj-General Aguyi Ironsi who fired virtually all none Igbos in the central government, replaced with IGBOS and was worse still, he refused to sanction the coup plotters. The only two high profile non IGBOS were Brigadier Ogundipe (CGS) and Yakubu Gowon (CAS). That was what led to the counter coup where he too was killed July 29th, 1966. Now my question! Was Obafemi Awolowo released? It was General Yakubu Gowon who released him after he became Head of State after the death of Aguyi Ironsi. The core Igbo officers who led the coup lied that they wanted to free Awolowo who was jailed by Azikiwe/Balewa Government for treason. They obviously used Awolowo as pawn to gain support from other tribe's soldiers but their execution of the coup proved otherwise. |
franchasofficia:You need sense. Bend down select sense at Aba market and I will pay, bills on me. You took time to write lies backed up by cheap propaganda. |

Omooba77:Both Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi should stop complaining and secure the bail conditions for the protesters. Afterall, both of them supported the protesters. They should pay for their bail sum. Money na water. |
DMerciful:No one is pushing for homophobia against Igbo. Instead, it's some Igbos who are fanning the embers of tribalism in 9ja. Ironsi was very tribalistic and bias. He didn't punish the coup plotters who were all igbos except one. And no igbo leader was killed in the accused corrupt govt. He instead promoted them and ensured they had their salaries. Then he ran a unitary system of government which was built around Igbos. Virtually all the leaders aside regional leaders are Igbos. |
Smartcitizen:Your prophesy of doom will not see the light of the day! That prophesy will manifest only in your life. Nigeria will get better but you'll not be here to enjoy it. |
iwaeda:This is the same Governor Douye Diri that shared palliatives given to the state during the flood for his reelection last year. He did vote buying with palliatives and money donated to the state during the flood. Bayelsa state is yet underdeveloped compared to what it receives as allocation (5th highest consecutively) measured with its small size and population. For two concecutive years, the state maintained the position of 2nd poorest state in naija. Not to criticize but hold the governor responsible that he's not done better in governance. In four years, there hasn't been local government chairmen duly elected, just caretakers. |
UselessBuharist:No! That's not the reason for sacking him as governor. The evidence APC brought before the court is ballot papers that were won by NNPP but were NOT signed by INEC, rendering those votes invalid. And after they subtracted those invalid votes from NNPP, they were trailing APC as the number of valid cast votes of APC is more than that of NNPP. That's the simple logic upon which he lost the case that would be cemented at the Supreme Court. |
REGIONAL POWER BROKERS! In Nigeria, the Northerners mainly Fulani Muslims are indoctrinated through oral literature through Usman Dan Fodio, with the mentality that they're the owners and landlords of Nigeria while the Hausas are the peacemakers. The Southerners divided from within, the South Southerners believe they're the Jesus who though rich became poor that through their poverty, the entire nation is enriched, so they lament often now then even though they receive the lion share of the national cake. The South Easterners are indoctrinated with the mentality that the entire nation have marginalized them yet they're the Jews in Nigeria (most successful people) that needs to be apologized to and compensated with the presidency and other juicy positions or secede at all cost if they're not placated. They're the Chief Propagandists! The South Westerners are indoctrinated with the mentality that they're the scholars, bookworms, sophists and academic juggernauts with empirical wisdom that must be sought after. All we've seen are regional power brokers competing amongst themselves. Who then is fighting for Nigeria? It is I. |
gerrardomendes:What's the proof that your Igbo man won the election? Your crass knowledge is the reason it would be hard for an Igbo man to become president. You're too sentimental and lacks sense of judgement. You've got to come out of illusion and come to terms with reality. There are so many Igbo people who supported Tinubu. Show me one sitting governor of Igbo extract who supported Peter Obi. Not even the senators or his home state governor. They never supported him. Most Yoruba leaders supported Tinubu and likewise northern and muslim leaders. But you come out to accuse a Yoruba man who won by simply playing the right politics of gaining 25% in areas he's not popular and winning landslide in areas of his popularity. Politics is not emotion but strategic planning. Truth be told, Igbos don't know much about politics as much as they know about business. Stick to your business and leave politics or better still, sit down and learn from those who know how to play it well. |

Druss:I've got no time to argue with you. You can win the argument but you can't win over my conviction. You clearly don't see anything good in others Mr Perfect. And history have proven that critics like you are far worse than those they criticize. |
Druss:Your rabble rambling is borne of hatred. I've never suffered but you who's taking bitter pills over a healthy and strong man. Delta State was well developed by Chief Ibori while he was governor. The major present imfrastructure were made by him. Successive governments didn't really build and consolidate on his achievement. Even NDDC was the idea of Ibori and few south south governors of his time, while he was the arrow head. The facts are there Mr Hater. My number remains Zero Hate Zero. |
KingOfIsoko1:Oga, is that what Deltans in your dream or imagination told you as their spokesman? Your statement dwells in the city of falsehood. For your info, Chief Ibori is the best governor Delta state have ever had. And he's well loved by us. |
This is a clear distortion of history especially when you said Izon is the 3rd largest ethnic group in Nigeria, which you reputed to be more in population than Igbo. You're trying to trigger an unnecessary tribal sentiment cum war, because some day you'd say they're more than Yorubas. Your basis for this assertion is even wrong because other tribes have their people fragmented in several places too and the Igbos are the most fragmented. They're all over the globe. That's why you can't obtain 10 million votes in their core states in election beyond the ones living abroad. This is a known fact. Just yesterday, we learned there are over 300k Hausas living in Imo state. What does that tell you? If there's any genuine history you should try to correct is the fact that Hausas are the dominant tribe in population in Northern Nigeria and Nigeria at large but for Fulani political dominance, they created an oligarchy termed as the Hausa/Fulani. |
clinician2x:Stupid is your name. Stupidity is your surname. And you beat everyone to win the prize for the most stupid creature. You have no equal but living in your own class of stupidity. Congrats!!! You truly deserve it. |
keymatt:What did Tinubu steal from you? Your manhood or scrotum? Keep looking for them. |
Your analysis is apt and borne out of a sincere and fair judgement. Tinubu is very smart, proved that you just have to win first before you unveil your hidden intent which might cost you victory. This he did in a most sublime way. Also, Tinubu isn't bad as he's been portrayed before the media. He's more of a negotiator and keeps to deals. He's astute and a mafia manager who combines a perfect management of mentees and prudent use of resources. I've got no doubt, he will do well as president and prove naysayers wrong. |
nairalee:It's so simple. Lawan was able to prove before the court that Machina was his placeholder while he contested for the presidency. And the law permits the principal to profit from it if proven that he had a placeholder. |
slawomir:I'm not here to sing the President's praise but Oga, you wey sabi what to do, what have you done for Nigeria? |
Man, stop misleading people online. Go and watch the video again. Pastor Chris never said Peter Obi would win. He gave a spiritual analysis of three major candidates without mentioning names. He said the first has a demonic mocking spirit using him which he cast out immediately. He said the second candidate would literaly sell the nation if he wins, then the third candidate name is in the Bible (which many concluded would be Peter) but he's afraid of winning and also afraid of losing. So he prayed to God to help him fly. Where did he say Peter Obi would win? I understand that some pastors openly said Peter Obi is the will of God but that doesn't guarantee him winning because, there's something one must do to make prophesy come to pass which I believe Peter Obi didn't do. |
clinician2x:It's so ironic that cursed people like you always see others as stupid because the veil of curse has blinded your vision that you can't even see blessed people or blessings. But I pray for God's mercy upon you to cast the spell from you in Jesus' name! |
capetownboyz:Nigeria is not cursed. As for me and other Nigerians, we're blessed and that can't change. You can be living under a curse but that's not our case. |
Truth be told, Tinubu is the most prepared for the presidency among all contestants, leave sentiment aside. He's reaching out to associates and opponents alike, destabilizing the strength of his adversaries by engaging them strategically for one purpose: Get the country back on track of greatness. He listens, proof positive he's a wise man. It's really his turn to lead. He deserves it EMILOKAN. |
You're a double-faced person/analyst for being so biased in your analysis. This is something very simple. They never supported each other due to internal party difference which is normal. Governor Seyi should be applauded rather than being barged for actually standing for what's right, justice and equity within his party. And that's what cost PDP at the elections. Dino and his principal Atiku should humble themselves and work with GSM and his faction within the party to avoid living in political oblivion. We've all moved on and don't even see PDP as an opposition party in Nigeria. A divided house against itself can't stand. |
You're engaged to a man who's engrossed in BDSM (Bondage, Domination, Sadism, Masochism) and it always end in death. It's extreme sexual pleasure mostly practiced by sadists. It makes victim get used to abuse and emotional trauma which leads to bipolar disorder. Run for your life. |
Dreal1247:You're a joker. What's the proof that Peter Obi has a mandate that Tinubu stole? Prove that Peter Obi has 25% vote spread in at least 24 states with absolute majority votes. Your principal can't prove it. Instead, he's using a drug case to disqualify him. He's not even an ex-convict. Tinubu used Peter Obi and it's all game. Obi has played his part of the game and all his supporters are fed with is a false hope to relinquish a mandate that only exist in imagination. |
It will dawn on Obedients and all Nigerians the real identity of the man called Peter Gregory Obi. He's a deceitful person. And the biggest conspiracy that would be exposed, is that Peter Obi is a mole whom APC used to divide traditional PDP votes to ease victory for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Also they'll realize Tinubu sponsored him. Obedients should channel their energy of hatred and bitterness towards praying and wishing the president-elect well for a prosperous nation under his leadership. The hatred can't destroy the man. The bitterness won't change nothing, rather bitterness eats up the bitter man. |
omonnakoda:Oga, America didn't annex them because they were already sovereign territories unlike those areas of contention between Israel and Palestine. Originally, by history, they're Israel's lands, historically they make up Jesusalem which has been the seat of power for the Israelites from bible times. And even the Palestine you're sympathetic with, is an illegitimate nation. They don't have an independence yet, thus can't legally lay claims. |
Jones4190:What are you saying? You don't understand wars! You don't relenquish conquered territories. The only one who can relenquish is the defeated one. That's why Britain and her allies shared the territories that were previously under Germany after Germany was forced to sign an armistice. With this common knowledge, Israel has the moral right to annex those areas listed. |
