SilverNorGold: I have been reading some psychopathic 'Yoruba' comments regarding this incident and I just laugh... I have also noticed how they label every dissenter 'a Fulani' or 'Hausa slave' - I was also called 'Fulani' and then 'Hausa slave' by same persons for daring to share my own opinion...
I laugh at the hypocritical Yorubas cos when the kasala wey them dey run cast, e go do them like film... Once the war starts, my brother, na only una go fight because me and my people go mind our business.. Even if we go side any pa rty at all, it would be Nigeria cos it's obvious the Yorubas expelling and persecuting Northerners(not only Fulanis) are the same people calling for Oduduwa Republic, which makes it obvious they're intentionally causing crisis to further their own selfish interests.. They sponsored the EndSars protest... It failed woefully. They attempted a second one which was resisted by well-meaning Nigerians. Now they are going about extrajudicially evicting people from their home in gross violation of the constitution.. Maiming, looting and dismembering hapless civilians...
But we are watching.. If they think we will side them, then they've got another think coming...
Cos Nigeria is my country; my allegiance is to Nigeria and I am ready to die for Nigeria.
God bless Nigeria. Long live Nigeria! No one cares, let there be war first. Too many people will die on both sides |

NwaAmaikpe:

Where was Wole Soyinka when Nnamdi Kanu's bail was ignored, where was he when Nnamdi Kanu's family house was being desecrated by the military?
Why is Soyinka even complaining against a government whose emergence he actively worked for? The chicken has come home to roost and they've begun whipping up empathy.
I refuse to buy in and it is simple. I won't weep for you when your house is on fire if you didn't weep for me when mine was.
No way,
Sowore should pay the price for inciting a revolution against the government of the day out of animosity for not making the ministerial list. The APC made it clear that they were not going to run a Government of National Unity, so what is Sowere's grouse?
Is it also a coincidence that his call for revolution came after the ministerial list was released?
We have better things like Allen Onyema and Air Peace to worry about and I find it rather paradoxical that our dear Professor has not made a comment on the ordeals of Allen Onyema.
Soyinka dines with the people he criticizes and laughs to their faces, accepts their awards and shows up for their invitations. Visits their official residences and takes happy photographs with them. Worse even, he allows his children to serve under them.
Aside not being as literarily sound, this two-faced nature is one of the reasons he will never be half the man Chinua Achebe was.
Chinua Achebe made his stand on issues unequivocally clear without any hues of grey, he turned down National awards based on personal principles, he never fraternized with people he believed made the country worse off and most importantly, he spoke out irrespective of whose ox it was that was being gored.
Wole Soyinka may have the unmerited award, but Achebe is the laurel itself.
How can the same people who said they couldn't trust Nigeria in the hands of Atiku "the looter" and "Made in China" Obi now complain that Nigeria is finished under their Mr. Intergrity and his Professor of Law vice?
No way. Lalasti.clala please tell them that we must get to our Next Level, nobody is jumping off this ship. Hmm, typical Igbo man, envy, bitterness, sadness, useless emotions and other things terrible all in one group of people, you guys can never be greater than this, that am sure of, you can only be jealous and bitter about someone bigger than you, foools |

Redfruit: Am more concerned with the requirements for attaining the consultancy cadre. If its simply years of service, then the state government has been deceptively led to push the health sector into a war of attrition. If its through undergoing rigorous postgraduate training then we might as well give it a trial. But the truth is that there is currently no postgraduate training college for pharmacists in the country and there is no enabling law to set up same. This action of the state government is more like changing the directorate cadre to consultancy cadre only. consultancy programme has been on for long time, the current Dean of OAU faculty of pharmacy is their immediate provost, ask about things you don't know for clarification and don't just blab, anyways shebi NMA, wants best international practice, there you have it, first Niger state, now Lagos, it is going round, the useless NMA thinks they can choke other professionals, laugh. |
