As it is well known in the USA, winning the general popular votes doesnt guarantee that presidential seat, but winning the 270 electoral college votes gives you the presidency as seen in the 2016 elections. Hillary Clinton won the popular votes by almost 3million votes but President Trump won the electoral votes by over 300 points. So the battle for the major states and swing states is the real deal now. President Trump has one of the strongest die hard supporters bases anywhere in the world. They are like our brothers up in the North here in nigeria. Their fanaticism is so strong and sometimes scary. Though he has lost some supporters due to how he managed the covid-19 pandemic and his constant verbal rough languages but you cant deny the fact that he has gained many more supporters over the year.
For the Joe Biden base, they are more of the Behind, executive, reserved and mostly educated calm folks around the country. They could be likened to our rich Ikoyi billionaires who were making fried rice with chicken, barbeque, suya, popping champagne and sitting under canopies during the elections in 2019 on the island in Lagos. He has a very massive quiet supporters who their voices will be heard on the ballot papers. He is widely loved and more popular than Hillary Clinton, reason why the trump's campaign committee are a bit worried.
The racial differences impact on the votes.
Though largely claimed and always spoken by Trump himself that he is the only president that has done more for the black communities than any other president in the history of the United states. But words are cheap. A reflection of how true or false this is could be seen during his campaigns. You hardly see any black American at his rallies which are mostly crowded by whites. [b]On the other hand, Democrats are known to be the only party that have the interest of the black communities and this reflects in both Joe Biden's campaign pictures as well as the number of serving black politicians under the ticket of the Democrat party. The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, Thursday, announced an improvement in Nigeria’s refining capacity, declaring that domestic refining of Premium Motor Spirits, PMS, at the country’s three refineries has increased to 10.23 million litres per day.
He disclosed that the Kaduna Refining and Petrochemical Company is currently running at 65 percent installed capacity, while the Warri Refining and Petrochemical Company is producing at 63 per cent and the Port Harcourt Refining and Petrochemical Company at 66 per cent of installed capacity.

Before that statement was made, the then Minister of Petroleum Mrs Alison Madueke had stated in March that early turn around maintenance was already ongoing while the MAIN TAM that was expected to yield the 90% projected capacity was expected to commence later that year.

October 2014: Turn Around Maintenance Began For The Optiman Performace of Our Refineries (80%):
While the Port Harcourt and Kaduna refineries were built by two Japanese firms - Chioda and JGC, the Warri Refinery was built by Snapcogetti of Italy.
According to The Coordinator, Corporate Planning and Strategy, of the NNPC, Dr. Tim Okon when SAIPEM eventually came, it offered to maintain Port Harcourt Refineries at $550 million, Kaduna Refineries at $600 million and Warri Refinery at $180 million.
Okon said the bills were unacceptable to them because they were too high despite the fact that the figures were eventually reviewed downwards. He said the high bills prompted NNPC to send some of their engineers to the builders abroad to learn the repair processes with a view to saving costs.
Following this move, Okon said NNPC began to spend as low as N10 million to maintain the refineries every month as from October 2014. Following this
development, he said the four refineries would roar back to life and produce in optimum capacity from the first quarter of 2016.

For example, the Port Harcourt refinery, which has reached an advanced stage, will start receiving crude by end of this month and then of course will start contributing to the available products in the country.”

You know what's funny about all this? When i was growing up, the south was always peaceful while the north was filled with strife. On numerous occassion were there news of riots and killings by notherners for ridiculously flimsy excuses. The northern elite saw nothing wrong with this and actually kept silent when they were supposed to have denounced it. The worst one i can remember was when coppers from the west serving in the north were massacred one day. One young man was on his phone with his parents, crying and praying to God to save him. There has always been riots in the North where churches were burned and christians or rather anyone from the south is killed in the name of religious riot for very insignificant and flimsy reasons, yet the elders and leaders of the North were complicit by their actions. Now the tide has turned on them, where will they run to? They now bomb their own mosques, marketplaces and anywhere else without consideration or segregation whatsoever.
