fizzile: SO YOU MEAN NO ONE CAN GRANT ME ANSWERS OR GIVE ME SOME RESPONSES. NA WAA You sound like this is a migration agency. Everyone here is also an applicant just like you so cool down. If someone with experience in the area you seek help comes along they would help you. Other than that please also read up on older posts. Cheers |

omojaiyejaiye: Thanks very much @ZoeW
Please is it a must I include my BSc project as suggested by a friend? Someone else told me it's not important at all. Just confused as I really can't get a hold of my project at the moment BSc project? I've not heard of that before. Just print out the checklist on the website and prepare and upload all documents listed there. No more no less to prevent any issues. You should be fine. |

wapu: Does one have to evaluate degree via VETASSESS if one goes through RPL route? This question was thoroughly thrashed on this thread a while back with some gurus saying you can go ahead and claim qualification points after confirming your defree AQF on CEP and other gurus saying you need to do the PTA. I did this as a backup plan for my peace and sanity but it came early enough to use in my application. So the choice is yours. Jbelieve: Hi ZeoW, congratulations. I want to ask what degree type you assessed before you assessed your bsc? Did you do a full assessment of your employment and degree before you did this assessment with vetassess? And if vetassess is your assessing body but you only want to claim points for qualification and not employment would the point test advice be sufficient or would I still have to do the full assessment of both qualification and employment? I think the idea is skilled qualification. This PTA is only to claim qualification and not to assess your skill. Even if you want to claim qualification points alone for your skill and not experience, it has to be assessed by the relevant authority with a positive outcome that u are suitable for that skill. PTA is not sufficient. I did my assessment with ACS through the RPL route. |

Alphadoor: the small victories leads to the bigger one. waiting on the Grant news Direct grant news bornlegend: In what scenario does this work , what prompts for this? When your qualification is unrelated to you nominated occupation and cannot be assessed by the assessing body but you want to claim points for your qualification. mamajaz: ZoeW, congrats, that's the forerunner, the remaining go be... Thanks Ma'am |

Dear Fam,
Let me celebrate the small victories 'cause I know the major ones are not far ahead! Few of you may remember the back and forth about claiming points for qualification even when not assessed by the assessing body. In my case I desperately needed additional 5 points and took a plunge which was not for the faint hearted (lol) and claimed my BSc anyway. I then paid for VETASSESS Point Test Advise and expected to results out in 10-12 weeks like most people here have stated. But it took 1 week from them receiving my transcript and 3 weeks from my application for them to give me my outcome.
My degree? AQF Bachelors Degree! I no fit happy finish!!! |

Misoke:
your ict skills have been assessed as not meeting the req. for professional i.t experience of 4 years in a field closely related to ur nominated skilled occup. your qual is assessed as ff: your b.eng in elect/comp eng from ...has been assessed as comparable to an aqf bach deg.with major in computing This is confusing. Is this a positive or negative outcome now. Abeg Alphadoor and AZY123 comman see. |
