On the evening of Monday 23rd, March 2020 more than forty of Nigeria troops were killed in a Boko Haram ambushed in the Gorgi village of Borno State. A town at the border with Chad close to the Lake Chad.
The Boko Haram terrorist attacked the Nigerian troops who were traveling for a clearance operation at the border of lake Chad peninsular following intel that the insurgent might have set up camps after Chadian forces were attacked the early hours of Monday.


Nigerian troops came under heavy fire from the Boko Haram terrorist who attacked the troops with rocket-propelled grenades and heavy weapons, bringing death upon more than forty soldiers of the Nigeria Army.

The question remains how come the terrorists were able to have the upper hand against the Nigeria Army. Here is are feasible reasons.

1. The Insurgent have earlier that day attacked a Chadian force station at Boma village in the Lake Chad peninsular carting away a large number of weapons. The Boko Haram terrorists were well prepared and armed.


In the last 48 hours before the ambush, Boko Haram has added to its arsenal one 40 barrelled rocket artillery, a dozen 102mm howitzers and huge caches of munitions.


These stolen weapons somehow come in handy for Boko Haram. And they were able to decimate the Nigerian troops and causing death to Innocent soldiers.

2. The second reason was the vehicles of operation the Nigerian troops were traveling in. They were traveling in a convoy of the open gun truck and Toyota Hilux van which offers no cover and protection against heavy fire from the Boko Haram terrorists.

These trucks were also used as transport vehicles for grenades and heavy ammunition, which makes them easy targets.

The life of our troops has continued to be useful to cover up corruption in the military top echelon. Why would a military fighting a non-conventional, hit and run enemy continue to expose its troops to heavy fire? When MRAP's would have been the better option that could offer cover from heavy fire and can also provide speed to pursue the enemy.

3. The conspiracy that external powers are behind the Boko Haram terrorist. The fact that the Boko Haram terrorists were able to attack the Chadian force for more than 6 hours undisturbed and also carting away a large cache of ammunition brings a clause to bear.

Chad and Niger both house a French and American airbases which have in their arsenals deployable drones and aircraft that can arrive at the scene within minutes. Yet the Chadian troops were overwhelmed and weapon caches stole.

The same French force that was able to decimate rebel groups from Libya en-route northern Chad In February, when fighter jets of France Rafale decimated the rebels halfway, yet Boko Haram attack a Chadian force for more than 6 hours and escape.

Conclusion
It is high time the Nigerian government needs to look at the Boko Haram problem holistically. The well-being and safety of our troops are paramount, as such government should invest in MRAPs, which are more suitable for non-conventional warfare like the one currently going on in the Northeast.

With the Covid -19 sweeping Nations and claiming many innocent lives, a Ghanaian Doctor in Italy who is currently working all day to save the Covid -19 patients in Italy has sent a warm packed message to Akuffo Addo’s government and Ghanaians.
According to the Doctor per the video below, he said Italy is facing its current crisis because the country neglected the early warnings, he also added the only way Italy could have averted this Crisis was Closing Borders and doing Mass Testing like North Korea did earlier enough which has proved significant decline of both the Cases and death.
The Doctor further added with Italy improved medical facilities it’s still not matching up to the task how much more Ghana which lacks most Medical facilities should a bumper Corona-virus spike in Ghana

There is growing fear of serious violation of human rights in several countries around the world, such as India, Pakistan and some parts of Africa, as police use deadly force to enforce the coronavirus social isolation measures.

In some Muslim countries, worshippers were publicly flogged by police whilst attending yesterday’s Friday Jumma prayer.

In Kenya, police flogged and fired teargas at hundreds of people caught stranded in Mombasa as they try to make their way home, before the start of the lockdown yesterday.

In a statement published today, the Mombasa Law Society condemned the authorities for its gross abuse of human rights.

“The Mombasa Law Society has learnt with tremendous regret that the police manning the Kenya ferry crossing at Likoni teargassed, bludgeoned and used excessive force on members of the public around the Likoni ferry area.

“The pictures circulating show police officers beating defenceless Kenyans – some were invalid,  children, others were women with children on their backs and some had fallen down.

“Even in rudimentary societies it is improper to beat people who have surrendered or fallen down and pose no danger.

“The scene is detestable, sad and unfortunate. It is sad that measures put in  place to manage the Corona virus and protect the right to life are being used by the police to maim and endanger life.

“The tear gas used affects the respiratory system and the commotion can only aid in the spread of the virus. The Inspector of police owes the affected residents an apology. This must end,” the statement reads.

There are now widespread calls across several countries for the United Nations to make a statement calling on nations to respect the human rights of all citizens, as they go about enforcing the much needed social isolation and distancing measures to curb the coronavirus epidemic that has so far infected over 600,000 people worldwide, killing almost 30,000

Hmmm. If you know, you know. I rest my case.

When Ramesh Darji was born, he was no different from the other newborns. When he was 15 days old strange things started to happen.

When they appear on top of each other, the skin texture begins to resemble a surface of a stone or fish scales. Sadly there is no cure for this disease and the symptoms can only be slightly relieved but it costs a lot of money.

In Rameshs case, the complications were so severe that at the age of 5 he even stopped walking on his own. In addition, other children were afraid of him so he became a hermit. Didn't talk to any one and he didn't go outside.

Fortunately, on day everything changed. A video of Ramesh was shared by a journalist from a local news paper and it made him famous. Many people from all over the world found out about him and as a result several thousand dollars were raised to help the boy and now he is feeling much better.

4. Worms.


Need i say much? Someone needs to send a message to the Chinese. If they love themselves and they world, they need to start being mindful of what they eat. This is jusy a brief summary of the awkward things they enjoy eating anyways. There are more that you don't want to see. Trust me.

3. Toads.


Can we just pause and digest the fact that there are people in the world who derive pleasure in eating toads? Some toads are so toxic that just touching the skin will cause a serious irritation that could possibly lead to death and people still choose to eat it? Okay.

2. Bats.

Bats are evil creatures, period. Why else would an aminal choose to come out only at night? How can one animal be a rat and a bird at the same time? Jokes aside. It doesn't just sound right to eat bats. And for crying out loud look at how horrific these pictures are. Eeew.

1. Scorpions

For crying out loud scorpions are one of the deadliest creatures on the planet!! They have a cocktail of venom at thier disposal that they can unleash on thier prey. They have a sharp and piercy skin and they do not have a sweet or wonderful reputation. With new species of scorpions being discovered everyday, who knows the type of venom that they will introduce to survive. Animals are smart. According to the theory of Evolution, they can come with venom that withstand heat or fire so humans can eat them and become contaminated. God help us.

The Chinese are known for being incredibly versatile and experimental with their food. This is a good thing and a bad thing. There are hundreds of chinese dishes that are mouth watering just to look at and that you can't help but wonder how they'll taste when they land on your taste buds. But also, they can be overly adventurous with food to the point that it can ce disgusting. Yes.

With a myriad of viruses tracing thier origins to China, it's obvious they need to start some sort of review of the things they eat and prevent the introduction of maybe a deadlier virus. Here are some chinese meals I suggest they scrap out.
