What a dumb thing to say. It's about personal agenda to them, never the good of the country. The man there right now is leading us astray so why enjoy another four years while we endure another four years of perpetual suffering, more kidnapping, more daring bandits killing among other vices.

You must be out of your mind. What the heck are you f*ck*in sayin. Tinubu is a disaster, it's a simple as that. We are paying foreign debt while we can't put food on our table. Any policy without security will never work, NEVER. I expect tinubu for all the grandiosity around his aura to do something different and I remember I said it on this forum that I won't judge his administration until after one year to see if he really knows what he's doing. In a sane clime where one way guys like you won't rig for your paymaster, he won't even get up to a million votes. Condemning the truth is simply evil and guy you be evil person. Haba, una no dey fear God. The price of foods has triple, yet u still dey defend this madness. How do you judge a government if not how the administration affects the lives of the people. A policy that retrogress the life and means of life of your citizens is no good policy, so deal with the truth. Any administration that can't keep his people safe has no business in power, your tinubu is a failure.

Especially HBP prevention and these days one need to moderate or avoid some food as you grow if not there is a price

Not saying its bad but just to be on the safe side
I can relate with that, I really lost my life in 2009 to BP because I was practically eating noodles and suya everyday thinking I was having nice meal. Noodles is a no no for me.

OH, OK, SO YOU'RE BUSY CALLING NIGERIA "SHITHOLE", REFUSING TO JOIN SECURITY FORCES, WHILE DEMANDING AN END TO INSECURITY.

OK, NO PROBLEM.

INSECURITY WILL END TOMORROW.

YOUR FADA IS COMING TO END IT.

JUST WAIT.
You have a lose screw up there for your comment. How dare you mention my father in your dumb reply. FOI, am Yoruba and a detribalised Nigerian and will always be. Lots of family has sacrificed their love ones for the security of this shithole country including mine and they have nothing to show for it. If a private who faces danger in sambisa forest fighting terrorists earns below 200k while a councillor who has nothing to offer his ward earns over 600k especially here in Lagos monthly doing nothing, so why will any reasonable human being join the army or police expect if they have no choice. And kids like you who comes to social media to support a failed administration under the leadership of tinubu is the bigger failure because things won't get better. Your tinubu is a failure and people like us who knew him when he started his campaign then wining the governorship sea in Lagos, knew he would mess things up. The country is more indebted, subsidy cancelled, cost of living higher and less affordable, insurgency and insecurity on the rise every day with brazen gut by bandit and terrorists, no region is now safe, not even the SW which use to at least a safe haven and yet you feel you can insult your way into the sensibility of members here. Cover your face in shame for advocating for such monumental failure.

Kemetian:
How come Obidients always attack Tinubu for insecurity yet virtually none of them wants to join the security forces?

Who are you expecting to protect you?

I read recently that in army recruitment drives to beef up security forces, those from the SE had by far the smallest number volunteers to join the army and police.

An absolutely negligible number of volunteers, to the point of embarrassment.

One would have thought that, as the most vociferously opposed to insecurity, that they would be First in Line to volunteer their service to the nation, but the reverse is the case

So I ask once again.

Who are you demanding should protect you?

How can the people loudest in shouting "insecurity" be the least willing to join the security forces?

Or am I missing something? 🫡🫡
You're missing a lot and most importantly the point. Don't make this about a particular region or geographical location. The army and police here are not well funded and lots of their personnel have lost their lives through the negligence of past administration and this present one. You can't ask people to sacrifice their lives in a shithole where politicians are stealing with reckless abandonment while the masses cry on daily basis. I expect this administration on day one to declare state of emergency on insecurity and commit state resources to ensure we get total victory in our fight against insurgency.

Yeah, but the fact that you don't know a person's source of income does not automatically make them yahoo boys or ritualists. That's the point. There are many ways to make money intelligently that doesn't have to be "visible" or known to busybodies. So rather focus on the people whose jobs and income is known, which makes it automatically impossible for them to be legitimately wealthy.
I specifically mentioned Yahoo boys cum ritualists. Some work right from home and doesn't mean they are any or all of the aforementioned.

They should be killed not apprehended. Though I agree can't negotiate with crazy but those innocent children should be taken into consideration before any rescue mission. Any responsive and responsible government should be proactive rather than reactive. Mr president as no business been the president if he can't use his authority to stop this madness and declare state of emergency on insecurity right from day one.
Politics › Re: Forgive Tinubu For His Mistakes” Back Him For A Second Term - Federal Lawmaker by zoghys: 6:40am On May 27
Benjanni:
Federal lawmaker Alhassan Ado Doguwa has appealed to Nigerians to “forgive Tinubu for his shortcomings” and back him for a second term, despite admitting the president’s “mistakes have plunged Nigerians into economic hardship.”

Speaking to journalists in Mina, Saudi Arabia, the Tudun Wada/Doguwa Rep argued that Tinubu’s “efforts” should earn him forgiveness and re-election. “There are indeed mistakes,” Doguwa conceded, but insisted Nigerians “should consider the efforts President Tinubu is making.”

He framed 2027 as payback time for the North. “Now is the time for Northerners to reciprocate the support Tinubu gave to their son (Buhari) in the last election,” Doguwa said.

The Kano lawmaker offered prayers for relief, saying: “I pray Allah brings relief to the masses of Nigeria.”

Doguwa’s comments from Saudi Arabia add him to the list of APC leaders already campaigning for Tinubu’s second term amid biting inflation and public discontent.
One of the many politithiefians we have in the country. Tinubu plunged this country is deep economic mess and any admittance of mistake only agree with the believe that' he's ready for the job. Tinubu has no business running this country again and should be voted back to bourdillon.

I prefer the rich guy with no "known job or business interest" than the typical rich Nigerian public servant with KNOWN salary/income that does not justify their wealth.

Any self employed person could be doing anything and has no income cap. But the salary earner whose salary for 35 years cannot buy a duplex in any major city cannot justifiably be wealthy.
Both sets are bad for our image and prosperity of the country. Yahoo boys com ritualists are as bad as our politithiefians who keeps looting our common patrimony with reckless abandon.
Politics › Re: How Did These Men Become So Rich In Less Than 3 Years Of Serving As Inspector by zoghys: 7:00pm On May 26
That's a brilliant and well articulated points but this is a country where we don't ask questions. You see an average guy who can't even afford lunch and all of a sudden he's a multi millionaire with no known job or business interest and all we say is the guy na yahoo and people seems cool with that and move on. Politics is Nigeria as been so monetized that a councillor who may not even be a school sat holder turns millionaire overnight with questions asked. Sincerely, I don't think things can get better if our mindset is remains which I don't see changing.

You being Youruba means nothing to him.
Mentioning yoruba in your narrative is simply stupid and needless. Not all Yoruba are fans of the president and not all Igbo are fans of Peter Obi, so why wiping sentiment by putting a tribe into the narrative. Tinubu is a disappointment, though Yoruba but doesn't represent our general opinion. The level of insecurity is alarmingly high, and he needs to be voted out, not because he's yoruba but a clueless president whom under his watch the country is failing geometrically.

Even 25 yr old man knows how to handle Wike if given the resources at his disposal as Fubara
NB Tinubu is not to blame for what happened to Fubara.
This is the step by step Fubara should have taken to put Wike in his place..
Invite the state commissioner of police for a dinner and give him 1B naira and asked him for his men and place them on monthly 500k stipend.
Raise 5k youths in each LGA and codename it "Operation Restore Order in Rivers"
Wire 500m in each account of 20 lawmakers
Introduce division in Rivers state and make it look like River-Rine vs upland
Tell the commissioner of police what you want
Wike step into Rivers state at his own peril.
All those BS you typed up there must be a joke, right. 1B of tax payers money just to stay relevant, while you can win the vote of your people by investing such amount in their lives and making it better. Maybe, it me but politics in Nigeria defiles plain logic, and it's so ridiculous.

enemyofprogress:
Stop Calling Them Terrorists; Call Them Ordinary Criminals” — Nigerian Army Fires Back at Governor Makinde Over Oyo School Kidnap

The Defence Headquarters has faulted Governor Seyi Makinde for calling the kidnappers of Oyo schoolchildren terrorists.

According to the military, the attack was an isolated criminal act and not proof that terrorists have a strong base in the South-West.

DHQ also said security forces had already cleared criminal hideouts around Old Oyo National Park and urged residents not to panic.

However, the statement has sparked reactions online, with many Nigerians arguing that anyone who attacks schools and kidnaps children should be treated as a terrorist, regardless of the name used.

Do you agree with the Nigerian Army or Governor Makinde?
