Health / Re: 5G Network: Can It Cause Cancer or COVID-19? by Zoken: 1:00pm On Apr 05, 2020
mako007:
Must we use 5g? If the populace don't feel safe using it, irrespective of being correct or not I think it's best for it to be discontinued for a while till the world heals then we can start trials and see. Haba!

Thank you.
This is no time to start applying our secondary and tertiary institution knowledge here, it is far beyond that. It will take a country like Nigeria at least two years to decide to study 5G: its effects on biological and ecosystem and another 20years to study it without any meaningful outcome. Let's listen to people that are living in now, let's source our information beyond what the government and the media wants us to believe, let's listen to experts in technology /radioactive fields that have humanity at heart and whose conscience have not been compromised. Ask yourself, what is USA stand on the subject matter, why are Chinese reacting the way they are doing, what are the results of the trials done and were they reported accurately.
The sooner we started taking this thing with the seriousness it demands, the better for us.
Please, no assertions should be made based on our elementary knowledge so that people would not be misguided.

Nairaland / General / I Keep Seeing And Interacting Top Politicians In My Dream!!! What Is The Message by Zoken: 4:49pm On Aug 22, 2019
Mehn, I am not going to do a long talk, but honestly, I am tired of living in the dreams. I just had a nap now, and again I was chatting in President Buhari.
I have never in any form nurtured the intentions of meeting with any politician, so, I am sure that my dreams are not products of a subconscious desire.
When GEJ was in power, I interacted with him at least twice in my dream, so also Bukola Saraki and this is the first time I am doing so with PMB.
The experiences are wonderful and how I wished they were real!!!!!
I am not even at Abuja ooo, I dey my lane somewhere in Ekiti State.
I just wish the dreams would come real or stop, it is really depressing to wake up from them.

Some people are silent givers. There's one man around my area (I don't know his name) from Umuameshi Naze, somewhere in Naze, Owerri, Imo State. Currently this man is constructing several kilometer roads around my area ( Obibi Junction to Umuameshi), feeding widows in his community and beyond. I don't care if he makes any list or not. To me, he is one in a million. God will extend his blessings to his 100th generations.
Don't worry yourself, very soon he will declare his intention to be a senator representing that area, abi no be Nigeria we dey again?

There are only two foundations in Nigeria, Tony Elumelu Foundation and others.
Business / Re: Tony Elumelu Foundation, TEF List Of Selected Entrepreneur 2019 Is Out! by Zoken: 9:02pm On Mar 22, 2019
See the impact one person is making in Africa as a whole. U really have to watch the unveiling program of TEF today, it was inspiring in its entirety. The only thing fg knows how to do is to shortlist successful candidates and it ends there, no empowerment. Their BoI YES-P program was a disaster, Youwin!Connect supposed beneficiaries have been abandoned, now they are doing P-YES, another set of young entrepreneurs to be frustrated.
Thank you Mr Tony Elumelu, SON. The originator and defender of Africa Capitalism. If others could take a clue from you, this country would be a better place.
God bless u real good.
Oh, lest I forget!! Happy birthday to him.

Career / Fg's Hypocrisy On Youth Empowerment In Nigeria by Zoken: 4:06pm On Feb 01, 2019
We have been branded with all kinds of names, blackmailed on and offshore of this country and yet, our cry do not mean anything to the current day government. I mean, we "THE ENTREPRENEURS".
They first presented YES-P to us, we did online and masterclass training, then they brought conditions which if ordinarily we could meet, we wudn't have applied for the loan in the first place. I am sure that 98% of the trained applicants didn't benefit from the programme, that one went just like that.
Again, they said they are modifying YouWin! to YouwinConnect!, I don't want to dive into the details of the tortuous online training and selection process. We were short-listed as the winners exactly a year ago this month, there is currently no news whatsoever on what has happened to the programme. We ve begged, we ve protested, we re yet to hear from FG. That is another one.
Wetin come dey vex me now be say, dem go bring another programme come name am P-YES. How can someone that has been disappointed by YES-P trust P-YES? I taya for 9ja ooo, seriously.

Abeg, does the value of doctors' salary reduce if other health workers' salary is increased? Or do they stop being consultants if others are? I don't see how improving the welfare of a set of people by fg becomes
a nightmare for another set of ppl.
Na wah for this kind mentality ooo.

Family / Re: "Leave Your Wife’s Money Alone" - Nigerian Man Tells Other Men by Zoken: 8:33am On Dec 04, 2017
Same reason why African men die a thousand ways faster than their wives. He spend all his youthful energy trying to uphold an obsolete culture and end up like his fore fathers. Even in the olden days when men were treated as demi gods, and when farming is the only means of livelihood, itz the wife and children that do the farm work. In short, he marries many wives to produce many children that will help him out. You think he is foolish?
It has never been the man, it has always been abt the FAMILY.
Couples should sit down and determine what is good for them, not what their parents and the society decides. Little wonder to see men kukuma use their overdependent and society blinded wives (who stop using their brains and rely on others for decision making) for money rituals and rest their thing. Some start stealing, kidnapping and do all sort of unimaginable things to fend for one unreasonable blood sucking parasite at home.
Women, pls do not over push ur husbands, u ve no idea how the end will be.
Abeg, hand don dey pain me, I no type again. Lol

Religion / How Easy Is Inter- Denominational Marriage In Your Church? by Zoken: 1:01am On Sep 24, 2017
Love is suppose to be the watchword of Christians irrespective of denomination, but this very bedrock of Christianity has been sacrificed on the alter of doctrines. Why should a Church delay the wedding of a lady from February till now and are yet to say anything about it just because the guy is from another church? And people around her keep getting married every now and then. How is she suppose to feel?
To be specific, my frd is a Deeper Life Church member and her guy a RCCG member. DLC has refused for the wedding arrangement to progress jst because the guy is not their church member, even when all other things including their genotype is perfectly fine (both are AA) . I think it's high time Christians started seeing themselves as one, put aside unnecessary rivalry and promote love.
Unfortunately, many ladies across the country are in similar conditions. Our religious leaders should please, abeg, biko, yiankuri, ejoor help put an end to this.
Wetin person no go see self in the course of marriage?
Which tribe? which state? which LGA? which religion? which profession?.... Now which denomination? Very soon it will be which Bible?
We need to stop this.
