Career / Re: Have You Ever Been Rejected, How Did You Manage It? by zolarade(m): 11:56pm On Jun 30, 2018
kp3tech:
Someone saying NO to what you are offering (like your service, time or expertise) is not necessarily a rejection.

As a matter of fact they might be saying I don't need what you are offering or I don't think I could afford it or you have not convinced me enough to give you the job or contract or money or to be in a relationship with you.

I heard lots of No, All I do is to ask questions to find out the reason for the "objection"...

If it is "trust" issue... I could offer you pay after delivery... And the No become yes.

If it is "I don't need it/ can't afford it". I smile walk way knowing that I miscalculated my Prospecting.

No one have the capacity to reject anyone unless you are God.

Celebrities / I Would Have Been An Accountant Or A Footballer – Korede Bello by zolarade(m): 9:52am On Mar 03, 2015
Mavin Records artist Korede Bello has won the
heart of many with his hit singles ‘Cold Outside’
and ‘God Win’.
In an interview with Nation Newspaper, Korede
Bello talks about his rise to fame, signing with
Mavin Records, support from his parents and
much more.
Read excerpts from his interview below!
On being in the music industry: No, I have
never thought of that.
And funny enough, I have always wanted to be
a footballer or an accountant.
I didn’t really see music as a career. Actually, I
saw it as a passion and a hobby.
I didn’t know I was going to do music
professionally until recently, during my
secondary school days.
I go to the studio doing recording seriously.
I started seeing music as my life purpose.
I see it as an opportunity to serve humanity.
On being called an upcoming act: When
somebody goes to school and is in primary
one, will you call the person upcoming student?
Or when you just get a job in the bank will you
be called an upcoming banker?
But for me I will say people are entitled to
whatever title they choose to give artistes, but it
depends on the artiste; ‘how you see yourself.’
I see myself as a musician, I see myself as a
mega super star and that is all that matters.
I will advise artistes not to go along with that
upcoming title because you might just remain
upcoming forever.
So you had better see yourself as a musician
and a servant to humanity.
Is there upcoming pastor? If there is none, why
upcoming artiste?
On his signature wink: I don’t know. I just find
myself doing it.
And there is someone I have in mind whenever
I do it.
I know pretty much that a particular person I
know will be watching it.
And that is why I keep doing it.
If anyone wants to find out who the person is, I
will just say it is you.
Whenever you watch me winking in any musical
video, I’m winking at you yourself. Trust me.
On his greatest achievement so far: My greatest
achievement is to be glorifying God with my
song.
I recently released a new single called Godwin,
and it is being received massively globally and
that is my greatest achievement.
Whenever people are happily dancing to my
song, it really makes me happy.
You know, to be able to do a song that the old,
and young would be able to listen to and dance
to but still be able to glorify God really goes a
long way.
I am very proud of that and it’s really
overwhelming.

Celebrities / 5 Reasons D’banj And Don Jazzy Should Work Together Again by zolarade(m): 3:21pm On Feb 24, 2015
What would a Don Jazzy produced D’banj track sound like today? Will we ever get to hear another record from both of them?
A lot of hyperbole has been stated all over the place about how Don Jazzy needs D’banj and vice versa, but in reality Don Jazzy has gone on to create the most sturdy music label/crew in the Nigerian music industry and D’banj has established himself as the most relevant Nigerian/Artist on an international level. They are both successful at the goals that they had set for themselves, but we would like to get one or more records from both of them for the reasons listed below.

1. Make it the 10th Year Anniversary gift to the fans
Let’s not act like D’banj is the only one who has been in the Nigerian Music industry for 10 years. He and Don Jazzy entered the game together which means Jazzy’s 10th year anniversary needs to be celebrated too, but will he?
I think the smartest way Don Jazzy should celebrate his 10th year anniversary is to drop a BIG tune with D’banj. Just imagine what a D’banj and Don Jazzy song will sound like today? They both need to do this regardless of the money, personal issues or differences, and just celebrate a decade of being successful in the Nigerian Music Industry by serving a HOT new tune.

2. The Fans Want and Deserve it
“Don Baba J” and “Banga Lee” really need to do this for the Fans. We respect and appreciate the current players in the Nigerian music industry, but we are all clamoring for a D’banj and Don Jazzy record where the raw talent of Don Jazzy will meet the High Energy of the entertainer D’banj. No one can do it better than both of them and the fans would love to listen to a 2015 Don Jazzy and D’banj collabo… and also see them together on stage ONE MORE TIME. #DoItForTheFans

3. They will create Magic
The feelings we all get when we remember the massive tunes these 2 have delivered when Mo’hits was still alive: Tongolo, Mobolowowon, Suddenly, Why Me, Gbono Feli Feli, Fall in Love, Igwe, Scape Goat, Mr Endowed, Oliver Twist.. We don’t want to imagine the magic, let us experience it. The fans would love a 2015 experience of magic delivered by Don Jazzy and D’banj.

4. To Unite their fans
Obviously, when Mo’hits separated, people in the camp gravitated to a certain person and took their respective sides. The same thing happened with their fans as the D’banj fans no longer see eye to eye with Don Jazzy fans when either of their “Artiste” releases content.
Every time a Mavin Records single drops, the D’banj fans or trolls leave comments putting down the Mavins and exalting D’banj while the same thing happens when D’banj releases any type of material; the Mavin goons come on the site and destroy the morale of the D’banj fans. That being said, when a song created by Don Jazzy and D’banj drops, both of their fans will have no option than to co-exist and unite; similar to what happens when the Super Eagles of Nigeria are playing football.

5. It will encourage a 9ice and Id Cabassa Re-Union
If in fact Don Jazzy and D’banj decide to release at least ONE single in 2015, I suspect that we will get to hear an organic 9ice and ID Cabassa product. You know what happens when 9ice and Cabassa create organic music… if you don’t, go and listen to the Gongo Aso album to understand. It will definitely be a spearheading attempt at creating more classic materials in 2015.

Celebrities / I Intentionally Infected My Wife With HIV – Nollywood Actor by zolarade(m): 10:45pm On Feb 22, 2015
Popular Nollywood actor Hanks Anuku, who
is known for playing criminal roles in
Nigerian movies, has revealed he tested
positive for HIV.
Hanks Anuku
The Nollywood actor also revealed how he
deliberately infected his wife with the deadly
disease. Pulse reports that the actor, now a
born-again Christian, who is based in
Ghana, talked in an interview about how he
went to Zambia for six months in April 2011
without his wife and two kids, to take part in
plays teaching about HIV and AIDS. While
there he enjoyed life, sleeping with about 80
women.
“Life in Zambia was heaven on earth because
we could enjoy life, moving in all places but I
was missing my family. During that time I had
quite a number of sexual activities and I slept
with different women. When I came back
home I never took care of the family. I started
drinking life a fish and became an
irresponsible husband leaving the entire
burden to my wife,” he said.
The veteran actor also revealed that while
knowing he could well be HIV positive, he
infected his wife .
“I got tested while I was in Zambia after one
of my girlfriends advised me about her
pregnancy. She had gone for pregnancy tests
and during that time she was tested for HIV
and the results was shocking, she was
positive. She forced me to get tested but I
could not come to terms with the results.
After I got tested I came back to Zimbabwe
and I kept quiet about the issue. I never told
my wife about the issue. I infected her but I
regret. I later on received some counseling
and it went well,” he explained
“During my peak of popularity I had sex with
approximately 80 women, within Harare and
Zambia. In 2002 it was so amazing to be on
TV. I abused the fame. To make matters
worse I lacked counseling and I failed to
handle it properly, leaving me in this mud. I
am now a born again Christian with UFIC
under the guidance of Prophet Emmanuel
Makandiwa.” he said.
In a recent interview the actor revealed that
he left Nigeria for Ghana in order to be close
to God.

Politics / B’ Haram Releases New Video, Vows To Disrupt Polls by zolarade(m): 4:25am On Feb 19, 2015
Militant Islamist sect, Boko Haram, has vowed to
disrupt the March 28 and April 11 elections.
“The elections will not be held even if we are dead.
Even if we are not alive Allah will never allow you to
do it,” the leader of the sect, Abubakar Shekau, said
in a new video on Tuesday evening.
The video appeared to be the first message released
by the group on Twitter, a sign of its changing media
tactics after previous messages were distributed to
journalists on DVD.
Shekau was shown in unusual clarity in front of a
solid blue background, dressed in black and with an
automatic weapon resting to his right.
Despite the threat, experts doubt that the Islamist
rebels have the capacity to disrupt voting nationwide,
although election officials concede that voting may
be difficult in parts of the North-East, especially on
March 28 .
Meanwhile, the United States will help Cameroon’s
army secure equipment to fight Boko Haram, its
embassy in Cameroon said on Wednesday .
Boko Haram fighters have killed and kidnapped
thousands in a six-year insurgency in Nigeria and are
stepping up cross-border attacks on neighbouring
countries despite a major regional offensive against
them.
In the latest strike, Boko Haram fighters ambushed
an army patrol near the town of Waza in Cameroon
this week and an intense gun battle ensued, killing
five soldiers.
“My government is working on a logistic pipeline of
material that will enhance Cameroon’s ability to
defend itself from Boko Haram,” US Ambassador to
Cameroon, Michael Stephen Hoza, said in a notice
published in a Cameroonian newspaper on
Wednesday.
He did not elaborate on what would be provided,
saying only that it would be “equipment necessary to
defend the country.”
Earlier this week, the commander of the US Special
Forces operations in Africa pledged to help African
nations in the fight against the group.
Maj. Gen. James Linder of the US army said
Washington would provide technology allowing
African partners to communicate between
cellphones, radios and computers.

Politics / Bode George, Kashamu Warn Obasanjo Against Attacking Jonathan by zolarade(m): 7:17am On Feb 16, 2015
Two Peoples Democratic Party leaders in the South-
West, Chief Bode George and Buruji Kashamu, have
warned former President Olusegun Obasanjo to stop
the verbal attacks against President Goodluck
Jonathan.
The PDP leaders gave the warning during separate
press conferences in Lagos on Sunday.
George urged Obasanjo to remember that his own
tenure was not perfect, advising him to play the role
of an elder statesman.
He said it was unfortunate that Obasanjo was
supporting the All Progressives Congress presidential
candidate, Maj.Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.),
when it was obvious that Jonathan was a better
candidate.
He said, “As a Christian, it is emphasised when Jesus
Christ said judge not so that you yourself will not be
judged. The judgement is no longer about criticising
Jonathan’s policies but he has gone to the extent of
saying ‘Buhari will jail you that is why you are afraid’.
“I am holding my breath because in this part of the
world, you talk to elders with respect that is why I
cannot express myself properly. Baba (Obasanjo) is
not a young man. He became the head of states at
the age of 39 and he should be about 85 now. I think
he should graciously fade away into the midnight.
“The things coming from him are becoming a bit
worrisome.”
George said there was a need for the PDP to sanction
Obasanjo for anti-party activities because if he was
not punished, other members of the party could do
such in the future.
“I think the party needs to look into the matter
because ignoring it could encourage indiscipline.
Imagine what would have happened if somebody
within the party was talking like this about baba
(Obasanjo) when he was President?”
Kashamu, on his own part, said Obasanjo’s regime
took corruption to greater heights. He, therefore,
wondered why the former President was critical of
Jonathan.
Kashamu, who is the chairman of the Organisation
and Mobilisation Committee of the party in the
South-West, said insurgency started during
Obasanjo’s regime and Jonathan should not be
blamed for the development.
The senatorial candidate said Obasanjo deserved to
be investigated and jailed.
He said, “My immediate reaction when I heard of
Obasanjo’s latest outbursts were when did this
pseudo-democrat become a defender of democracy?
Who has corrupted our electoral and democratic
firmament more than Chief Obasanjo? How can the
architect of Third Term Agenda accuse anyone of
trying to scuttle democracy?
“Obasanjo still wants to continue in power because if
the APC, wins, he will be the one that will control
everything. All that is going on now is hypocritical.”
Accusing Obasanjo of working to subvert the will of
the people, he said, “the truth is that the opposition
as headed by Chief Obasanjo, have seen the
handwriting on the wall. They know that with the
postponement of the elections, their evil plot to
subvert the will of the people has exploded before
their own eyes. They are afraid that they will lose the
elections, hence their many unguarded outbursts and
unfounded allegations.”

Romance / Miss Single Single by zolarade(m): 9:58pm On Feb 14, 2015
she is afraid of valentine..i can tell.the forced smile in between her lips shows it,the balls of tears peeping outside her pores betrays her words, and her eyes are looking away from me. yes! i can swear i am right .she truly is afraid of valentine.i dont mean valentine the ibo boy who sells electronic behind my house or the one you know who changed his name to valentino, am talking about st valentines day, precisely i mean she is afraid of the word " valentine" .
everytime i ask her how she intends to spend the supposed "lovers day " she shrugs and says she has grown past that and walks away as fast as her legs can run.but we all know her answer.alone.afterall she is a single woman.

hmm..a single woman in my own term is not only a woman who is not yet married or a woman with a vacant ring finger no thats a spinster.a single woman is someone like rebecca my boss.a well mannered self confident woman who is boyfriendless,if that word even exist.while most ladies have that special person who calls every night to wish her goodnight the single woman sleeps right after listening to her books talk.she has no man to tell about her day,how the boss reprimanded her,how her cat ate her fish and how deserately she needs a new brazillian hair.she has no man to provide protect and pamper her so she has to learn to do all this by herself and she pretends she is happy.

i can almost guess the image you see,a desperately old woman in her late thirties who is overly bossy and has major issues but no this single woman isnt like that she is attractive and young she is gentle and though she finds herself saying " i am looking for something serious " everytime she goes on a date she actually isnt desperate she is quite content with her singleness of course till her friend breaks an engagement news.you might find her on a couple of dates,in a short term relationship,or a casual fling but it doesnt last .she either meets a player,an adventurer or a man who has commitement phobias.some say its her work that keeps her unattached ,others say its her education, her character or a spiritual problem but i dont think so.i know so many career women who have a " love of their life ".i know women whose character could turn a dove wild and yet they have their "boo".so whats the matter why does she have to spend her valentines day alone eating ice cream and watching telenova while her eyes are flooded in tears as she carefully studies the lovelife of catarina and sebastine yet hers doesnt even exist.

i feel for her,i really do and yet the arrow is always first aimed at her.come on,what about the liars who coated their lips with sugar only to tell her halfway that they are in a commited relationship with another woman.were u there when her heart was crushed and kept in a vase?but you point fingers of accusation that she is responsible for her status. i would say its timing if you would ask me its just a phase and it will be over it mostly does, the single woman might not get a valentines gift this year but next year she might, she might be seeing "my heart beats for lola on valentines saturday" but next year she will tell you are own love story because good men do exist.so my advice to miss single reading is suck it up and be happy today cos u only have one chance to be happy today

Romance / Higher Love by zolarade(m): 3:00pm On Feb 12, 2015
I speak of love because I was born of it. It's
always been apart of me and in all honesty it's
hijacked me and now controls me. I believe now
that everything happens for a reason... There
are no coincidences. I believe as humans we
make things over complicated and the answers
we all desire for our many question and
searches are simply within us and beneath our
very noses. Trouble is, that life being so so
short, we run out of time. My mama would hold
out 1 sweet and ask us who wanted it quickly,
just like that, I was always so quick and learnt
the lesson well. If u don't catch on quickly then
you'll stay and stand with nothing and in turn
watch someone else chew on something sweet x
Anyway, life is wonderful and beautiful and
amazing, why? Because of us as a people and
what we carry... Feelings. We have the ability to
hate yes, but the choice to turn to and love.
Infectious diseases are of our world, it harbors,
takes over and eventually takes us away sadly.
This brings tears, sadness and misery. So what
of the opposite? What else can infect us,
harbour and take us in the other direction
bringing happiness, ecstasy and paradise here in
this world? Search every word in any place and
you will find it's the one word that sits just
below God himself... Love. Learning that putting
others first and caring, truly caring for others
first is putting yourself first in a way, and you
are truly acting as a king. This world is dying. I
believe God is holding on a little longer in hope
and faith that we will hold hands in love, that we
will come together as one and simply love. There
will always be idiots and dummies, but does
there have to be so many? I had the help of an
Angel, I now stand and share my heart. You're
no stranger to me, you're part of me and I of
you. Close ur eyes and touch 10 hands, can you
tell of their skin complexions? Their birth place?
Area code? Anything? But u can tell it's a hand
belonging to a human-being just like you. Anger
and hate come from dark, why do we sleep
when it's dark and wake and arise when it's
light? Be grown and educated by life and love.
God is waiting and hoping. And 1 more thing. I
love the film about the life of Ray Charles, if u
ain't seen it it's called 'Ray', there's a part in it
when he's a boy and he has not long lost his
sight. His mama warns him that he's gotta be
strong and independent, and that no one will
help him. He's at home and he falls, he cries out
for his mama, he hears no reply and calls out
again, he hears nothing. He wipes his tears,
composes himself and uses his hearing to finally
find himself and his feet. He even managed to
catch and hold a noisy cricket to his ear, he
then confesses that he too can hear his mama
who was always there, standing in hope and
faith by his side that he finds his way... She was
always there. No matter ur situation, problem or
faith... God is, and is always there.
God waits for us in hope and faith, that we just
love.

Romance / How To Avoid Heartbreaks In Relationships.. by zolarade(m): 7:11am On Feb 12, 2015
1. Not all relationships must lead to marriage.. Some relationships are either for a reason, a season, and only few are for a lifetime.. If it doesn't work as wished/ hoped on, then don't kill yourself about it, because it was for something.. Atleast, Discover the purpose of that lost relationship, and Move on..
2. Don't give a man or a woman the totality of your
heart before giving the totality of your heart to GOD.. Love the person “YES“, but put GOD and yourself “FIRST“..
3. Don't get carried away with BEAUTY/MONEY.. If that person's inner person can't keep you, then neither can his money or her beauty, keep you too..
4. Love is never ever enough.. Understanding,
compatibility, wisdom, honesty, communication,
respect, commitment, contentment, patience, and
tolerance are extremely important too..
5. When you see more of Negative signs than Positive signs in it, its better to withdraw your heart before it gets broken.. The truth is, most people see these warning signs, but yet chose to endure endure and endure till they get seriously hurt, dumped and woken up by REALITY..
6. Extreme jealousy is one of the quickest way to
breaking up a relationship.. Insecurity,False
assumptions, distrust, blames does this..
7. Don't demand TRUST.. Rather, earn it by building it or showing it..
8. Never compare your partner to someone else.. Be it your friend's good going relationship, or your EX.
9. Your relationship should not only be marriage
driven, but Care, love and concerned/interest Driven.. And finally
10. The best way to love a person freely without getting sooooo hurt, is to love him/her without HOPES.. Because, no one can promise you tomorrow,, rather, the Future meets up with our Readiness.. What readiness?, comfortability, choice, and satisfaction.
Romance / Never Waste Anyone's Time If U Arent't Gonna Love Them Forever by zolarade(m): 12:14am On Feb 12, 2015
Never waste anyone’s time if you aren’t gonna love
them forever. Don’t even date them because it’s of no pride you having a huge list of Ex-boyfriends and
girlfriends. It doesn’t even portray the man or woman in you. Always speak out your heart to someone, don’t keep that person around because you feel pity for him or her. If you’re busy loving someone else, utter it out rather than keeping that dude or babe around you as a secret close friend or a substitute, Fine it hurts but it helps a lot. Stop fooling that innocent person who spares his/her time for you, who sacrifices anything little h/she has for you, who ignores all other chances of beautiful ladies and handsome men because h/she has hope in you. Think about it my friends and act accordingly.

We met with no intentions...
It all just happened so fast...
We fell slowly in love
The bond of our first kiss
The true love we had
The love we felt
The love we shared
But then...
Trust issues
Friends
Personality
Distance
Slowly slowly
I lost You...
Again and again
So many moments I can't let go
Dancing with you
You Cuddling me
Hugging you from the back
Playing games
Kisses
Watching musical videos together
Cooking together
Pillow fighting
A lot more I can't say
I'm here all alone not because there's no one... But
reasons best known to me...You taught me how to pour my pains by putting them into writings
I hope this helps...
But...
Do u ever think of me
Do u miss me...even just a little
Did u miss hugging me?
Did u ever miss our kiss?
Did I ever mean anything to u
Did u love me the way I do *tears*
Pls tell me
Pls...
You left me a deep wound
And a scar it would be when it eventually heals.
I know it will take a while but as they say time heals all wounds.
There are times we have to stop loving someone, not because we start hating them, but because we realize they would be much happier if we let them go. But no matter what...You'll Always Be In My Heart. And if u ever miss me just play from your playlist these songs...

Religion / What If........... by zolarade(m): 10:28am On Feb 08, 2015
A long time ago, a young man finished an
evening meal with his friends, spoke to them
about various things, then looked up to the
sky, and prayed. John 17:1-26
I want you to imagine for a moment that it
never happened.
I want you to imagine that he did not at
this time pray for himself . What would be
the point? He had been hated, hounded, and
harangued (addressed in an angry and
forceful way), he had been betrayed into his
enemy’s hands, and they were going to kill
him the next day. What would be the point
of a man in that desperate position saying,
“Father, bring glory to me”? So imagine that
it never happened. Indeed, imagine that
Jesus, the night before he died, abandoned
his trust in the Father, and did not pray for
himself.
Imagine that Jesus did not at this time
pray for his disciples. Why should he? They
were a small, pathetic, dejected band of
followers who couldn’t even be trusted to
stay awake while he prayed. They showed
every sign of abandoning him. So imagine
that Jesus gave up on them, and left them to
their own feeble devices. They were hopeless
cases, and it would have been a waste of
breath for him to plead to the Father on
their behalf.
Imagine that Jesus did not pray for
future generations of believers. Why
would he? How could there even be any
future generations of believers, since he was
about to die and his followers could be
expected to drift back to their fishing nets?
There was little reason to believe that people
would even remember his name, let alone
call themselves his followers and dedicate
their lives to him, and so didn’t trouble to
pray for them.
Just imagine that. And yet Jesus did pray for
himself, for his disciples, and for future
generations of Christians.
Jesus did pray for himself . He prayed,
“Father, bring glory to your Son.” And that
prayer was answered. The Father glorified
the Son by taking his dead body and raising
it victorious from the grave. We are here
today because Jesus prayed, “Father, bring
glory to your Son”. Phil 2:9ff ‘God exalted
him to the highest place and gave him the
name that is above every name, that at the
name of Jesus every knee should bow, in
heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is
Lord, to the glory of God the Father.’ Our
meeting this morning is not merely a
recollection of an ancient life, but a
communion with our resurrected Lord, who
once died but ever lives.
Jesus did pray for his disciples. He asked
his Father to protect them and keep them
safe. And that prayer was answered. Indeed,
after his death and resurrection, they were
granted power not only to keep the faith,
but to be his witnesses in Jerusalem, in all
Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the
earth. And so the church was founded, a
community of believers from every nation
and tongue, believing and proclaiming the
apostolic faith. That is what gives meaning to
our gathering here this morning, and to our
celebration of Holy Communion. We are here
today because Jesus prayed for his disciples,
“Protect them and keep them safe”, and
because the Father answered that prayer by
building the church of the living God, the
pillar and foundation of the truth. We stand
firm this morning on the foundation of those
first prophets and apostles.
Jesus did pray for future generations of
believers, for all who would believe because
of the apostle’s message. He prayed that they
might have a united witness, that they might,
here and hereafter, know the Father and be
with the Son and see his glory. We are here
today because that prayer is being answered.
The Father is granting for us to know the
Father and the Son, and for us to be assured
that we shall be with Christ where he is. Our
celebration of Holy Communion is ‘until he
comes’, and we see him face to face. And the
body and blood of Christ, who died but lives
and reigns and continues to intercede in such
a manner for all who come to God through
him, will keep us in eternal life.
This prayer, then, is fulfilled in our own
status and experience as Christians: if the
Father had not glorified the Son there would
have been no resurrection and no eternal
life; if the disciples had not been protected
and kept safe there would have been no
church and no apostolic message; if Christ
had not willed it and the Father provided it,
there would be no unity amongst the
followers of Christ, no possibility of us
knowing God, and no prospect of our being
with Christ and of seeing his glory. But Jesus
has asked for, and the Father has granted, all
these things, and what comfort, strength,
encouragement and hope that gives us.
Thanks be to God.
