But why are most Nnamdi Kanu's disciples very aggressive both online and offline? I know a certain igbo man who is an ardent listener of radio biafra via cable here in plateau state. Whenever he discusses Biafra issues with fellow igbos of late, he's usually aggressive and abusive. He terms any person that has a contrary opinion to him Onye hausa. Funny enough, the man is presently building a big house in his neighborhood here in Ugwu hausa. |

NAIJASOM: Let's be honest, this thread got to 400 pages within one year because there were so many insults and fights that happened. If you compare it to the Enugu thread that started in 2012 you will realize that it shouldn't be more than 200 pages. But I am glad that finally, more intelligent conversations are beginning to happen. I hope it stays that way. You are quite right. But even the Enugu thread had same problems at the earlier stages. One thing with derailers is that they get tired when ignored |

I marked Nnamdi kanu a dangerous Extremist the moment i read he asked his supporters to destroy any yoruba christian church in Aba and also to cause chaos during kumuyi's visit to Aba. Now, he has redirected his madness to the catholic church. Does he have advisers at all? or is he a lone ranger? Speaking against politicians is one thing but destructive criticism against the catholic church in igboland is taking it too far. I don't want to liken IPOB struggle to that of Boko haram. But we shouldn't forget that boko haram initially fought mainly against christians, with time they lost patience and extended their fight against fellow muslims who do not have same ideology like theirs. As for Igbos who support every thing Nnamdi KANU says , i have one advice for you- FLY WEY NO GET ADVICER GO FOLLOW DEAD BODY KPEME FOR INSIDE GRAVE. |

The first few paragraphs of this write up are very disturbing. We seriously need to tell ourselves the truth. Ahmadu Bello and some other venerated leaders of the past actually planted this seed of hate between the hausas and other tribes. And we call them heroes of our past... nonsense |

I understand the point the cardinal is trying to make. But what's the main aim of the probe in the first place? Is it just to recover stolen funds and forgive the perpetrators of the act? Or is the probe aimed at punishing the thieves if found guilty? If the former is the case, then PMB should heed the advice of his Eminence, but if the later is the case, then PMB should better assemble a very good legal team cos lots of time and money will be spent if not wasted. |

investnow2013: FG disburses N18.3b counterpart funds for Second Niger Bridge * Cost now raised to N117b
The Nigerian Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA)- managers of the more than $2 billion Sovereign Wealth Fund (SWF)- has given a status report on the ongoing Second Niger Bridge project under a joint public, private partnership between the Nigerian Government and some private equity capital firms, including the NSIA.
According to the NSIA, the Nigerian government has so far disbursed N18.3 billion of her N30 billion commitment to the project, adding that the Fund too has so far spent $2.1 million on consultancy services. The information is contained in a status report on the project released by the NSIA in Abuja.
The total cost of the project was estimated at N108 billion at conception but it has gone up to N117.9 billion due to the falling value of the Nigerian currency in relation to other world currencies.
While reporting the progress status of the Second Niger Bridge, the Vice President, Infrastructure Investment and Special Advisor to the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Project, Mr. Obinna Ihedioha, said it was initially estimated to cost N108billion, excluding duties and VAT (if duties and VAT are included), regretting that the project cost is now N117.9billion.
He gave reason for the increase in cost: “This was equivalent to $700million at the then prevailing exchange rate of N154/$. The final project cost would naturally be affected by exchange rate fluctuations and other variables.” The bridge will be constructed and operated on a Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer (DBFOT) basis. I've never heard or read about any project in nigeria so politicized as this second Niger bridge. What rubish! Is this bridge going to be the biggest in Africa? Gej and PDP played with our (ndigbo) heads over this bridge. Today Buhari and APC are taking the joke to a whole new level. Rubish! |

BuddahMonk: Let him stop it now. This is why Jonathan is a failure and should be killed.
Come to think of it only Igbos are agitating for second Nigeria bridge, where are the SS and North Central people that use the bridge as much as we do nobody is talking.
Is the bridge an Igbo property, does it mean others won't be allowed to pass the bridge because its in Igboland God bless you for this post. Ohanaeze ndigbo and other irrelevant igbo groups should stop making us a laughing stock. If APC likes, they should continue and finish the project, if they don't, let them leave it. |

Sorry bro. Shi.t happens. The walls of the shop look thin from what i can see. If you must continue your business there, i advice you make the shop more secure by constructing iron protector around the walls. The thieves would likely come back if you don't fortify the shop's security. |
