I abide with the constitutional proviso. I totally disregard Dino's additional statement about endorsement of at least 2 senators in the nominee's state. Some rules are not meant for the big boys. Let wait and see.

Earlier yesterday, Senate develops procedure for screening of MINISTERIAL NOMINEES

which was

1. “The first criteria is using constitutional provisions as stipulated in the 1999 Constitution (as amended) as a fundamental procedure for the screening of ministerial nominees."

Section 120 of the Standing Rules of the Senate states that the Senate shall not consider the nomination of any person, who has held any public office as contained in Part 2 of the Fifth Schedule of the Constitution prior to his nomination unless there is a written evidence that he has declared his assets and liabilities as required by Section 11(1) of Part 1 of the Fifth Schedule of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria

2. Melaye added, “We also, in line with our convention, agreed that for you to be cleared as a minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, minimum of two senators from your state must, at least, show support for your nomination

Now Lets Analyse this.. if truely the house are really going to follow this Conditions truely..

For the declaration of Assets lets leave that with amaechi and wike because i believe wike will be waiting for amaechi to declare his assets so he can find something fishy about it and witch hunt him with that.

Now for the second point i listed above, we have three senators in the house from rivers state.. which are

•George Sekibo (Rivers East)
•Olaka Nwogu (Rivers S/East)
•Osinakachukwu Ideozu (Rivers West)

these senators listed above are all PDP members..

now my question goes thus.. what will be the fate of MR ROTIMI AMAECHI on the second conditions? because we all know what the game is going to be..
