@zrocky Can you please advise -
1. Which foreigners' office would a research student that would live in Kostrzyn nad Odra apply for the TRP/TRC?
2. How long (rough estimate) does it currently take to get the TRP/TRC there?
3. Is it better to apply by post if the foreigners's office is several miles away from Kostrzyn nad Odra?
4. I am not sure if it is the correct application requirements list that I am looking at, but is a translated birth certificate required to apply for TRP/TRC?
Omo make I no lie , I no Sabi wey be Kostrzyn nad Odra. E be like you dey go one villa like Dat dey careful not everywhere for here dey diverse, make you no go place wey only you na black and nobody the speak English.

Unto trc level big cities 6 to 1 year

Wroclaw 6 to 8 months decision and 8 month to wait for card. Submission by post can take till the end of days.

Small cities 3 to 6 month total process.

I believe you apply for trc in the city of your residence, except you live in village. Then you need to go to the city to run it. You need to submit accommodation contract as proof of residence in the city you apply

Note: applying by post takes time. I advice to use it when you want to buy Time and when you don't have all documents on ground. I advice you use POLISH lawyer always. You can do by yourself but 1 mistake can cost you.

If you need a lawyer I share an Ig account she one of the best

Someone told me that you need work permit before you can work as Uber eat rider or any other food delivery service
not true. as of now if you come as a student you don't need work permit. If the law changes and you need work permit you can get it in smaller city faster than big cities but it should take max 6 months

I'd rather obtain my BSc to enable me leverage the option of going for Masters anywhere in the world than to limit my self to UK alone.

I'm 41 years old but my age didn't deter me from going for a BSc and I'll round it up in December this year, I believe you're way younger than me, you've all the time in the world, get your BSc here and Japa later, my 2 cents 👍
your still young to come abroad no fear i see guys in their 50s here hustling for the sake of their children. you are on track sir. ride on more blessings and grace

From the bolden, are you insinuating that one can actually pay tuition fees by doing menial work? An agent is about applying for a master program for me and he has been saying that I can even work there to pay my tuition fee but I don't really believe him cos all these agents are only concerned about the money you will pay them so they promise heaven and earth. What do you think big man, do you think it worth it? Also, I'm presently working in a commercial bank in naija, does it really worth it? What you wrote up there about Poland changing their policy is giving me a second thought and a bit scary
Every country change their policy daily so no need to fear. IF you can leave oga leave that banking job, but wait till you get you visa. also previous experience in banking and finance could land you a high paying job. if you skills are top SQL, Risk, SAP, Sale force ACCA, ICAN 7k gross man if not more.

but why use agents when you can do it yourself(well as a banker u no get time , i get)

Your agent is right. you can work and pay your tuition fees, save and leave fine minimum wage is around 4550 gross, net maybe 3800 - rent outside hostel 1300 max + feeding ,internet on phone etc 500 or less =savings 2k X 12 month 24k. tuition is around 13 to 16k for masters.

the rest of the maths is easy. if you know how to hustle you can make more than that doing blue collar jobs in big city. if you land a white collar job in your field omo you go enjoy.

NOTE I ONCE SAID BIG CITIES HAVE THEIR PROBLEMS BUT YOU EARN MORE. SMALL CITIES MOST TIME NA FACTORY FULL THERE BUT YOU GET YOUR CARD ON TIME

some schools allow you to pay per semester or bits every month. if you come you don't like it you can move to another country from here.

yes you can work in delivery. lets hope the new law allows you to work full time as a student then you can get an office job. but please learn how to drive and get your international licence before you come.

also if possible based on the course use coursera to gather some skill eg python, sap, sql , excel

Thanks for the information
I will be coming to study 5month courses using a Schengen visa of 3month what my chance of getting the temporary residency card or with just stamp in. My Passport I can live legally without the TRC
first do you have a visa already. by the way you are coming for a 5month course with a 3 month visa so it would expire before you even finish your course. Which city are you taking the said course.

My advice is this

1) with a visa you are coming with you can only change to student trc, not work

3)make sure you do all documents waec, degree verifications and authentication @MOE , MOFA and polish embassy before you come.

3) once you arrivel look for a university for masters or BSc course. Proccess your admission for full-time studies ASAP.

4) look for work and hustle like mad to make money to pay your fees if you don't have the money already.

5) get a good lawyer, get an appointment to get your stamp of submission of student trc application. If you could not get a school don't wait before your visa expire, move to wroclaw get a good lawyer , apply by post, it take forever to get stamp appointment, but you buy time to get admission and you can continue working before them go call you for stamp you got yourself in order and you also made money . Any more questions quote me. I hope I can answer soonest

1 more think for the duration of your visa you should be legal in the EU. But once it expires you become illegal except you apply for trc or have a trc

Poland: Changes to language qualification requirements for residence permits
Flag of Poland
A new regulation from the Minister of the Interior and Administration, introduced through an amendment to the act on foreigners and effective from 24 June, significantly expands the range of recognised documents for proving knowledge of the Polish language.

One of the conditions for obtaining a residence permit in Poland is the presentation of a document certifying knowledge of Polish at B1 level. Until now this has often been a challenging requirement for applicants, as only certificates from the State Commission for the Certification of Proficiency in Polish as a Foreign Language were accepted, leading to high levels of interest and difficulties enrolling in state language examinations.

In addition to existing official certifications, the newly recognised qualifications include:

certificates from the European Consortium for the Certificate of Attainment in Modern Languages (ECL), and telc GmbH, WBT Weiterbildungs-Testsysteme GmbH (TELC);
certificates issued by universities upon completion of courses in Polish as a foreign language or another form of education in Polish as a foreign language;
certificates of entitlement to practise the profession of sworn translator, issued by the Minister of Justice.

It also remains possible, as under previous regulations, to fulfil the condition of certifying knowledge of the Polish language by presenting a certificate of graduation from a school or university abroad that uses Polish as the language of instruction, or a certificate of graduation from a school in Poland.

But why u dey lie for people to fear na. I stay in Lublin and people can still work when they study. All they need to get is a work permit that any job can process for intending workers.

There are jobs like tech, customer care support that guarantees your stay after school and there also some menial student jobs like food delivery, taxi, factory jobs, restaurant jobs and also summer jobs eg berry picking and some other industries that are available to get you the money till you get a better job offer

This journey na bit by bit, get the visa first and every other thing will begin to align

But my important advice to everyone is to get that Nigerian driver license before coming

Love and Peace ✌️
first of all you no get sense. if you get sense you will educate yourself before you speak.

i said maybe students will not be able to work full time. which is a propose law from june 2025 as you won't be able to work with your national d visa and even if you get a TRC it might not guarantee you can work as a student. also you can no longer swap from student permit to work until you graduate. a lot of of things will change .

Even to get work permit for those that are here on work and want to swap their jobs, it take 3 months and above. also not every company can give you work permit. and most company will prefer not to employ you, if you don't have it because of the process and complication. because you have opportunity now to work does not mean the laws will not affect you when it comes into place in june this year. the EU is changing

maybe you know better than the polish Immigration Lawyers. even without the law in place yet it is difficult to process work permit. if you have your hours capped to 20 or 30 hours a week most companies would not employ you as they only want full-time workers. maybe you end up working in factory wey your eye go see sege.

Also i advise people to avoid Wroclaw as they are people here 3 years no temporary residency card, they apply and inspector no send them. They are people also here in poland 11 to 15 years no Permanent residency card. If you don't speak polish just forget PRC. you either marry a polish citizen or learn the language. i also live in poland, work here and is married here. check my post on these tread and see who dey lie to who.

i don't have time to respond to messages. i only come here to respond to message pending. and help when i can. people are still coming to poland without the right information. most come here thinking this is germany, canada or uk. E GO Shock YOU if you don't plan properly. people wey travel abroad to other countries same time with me, get citizenship, i never see PRC to talk of citizenship dey play.

People don't say the truth. most nigerians will only want to use you and make more money with work permit that cost less than 200 euros for a company lawyer to process, some companies that need you would issue it for free. our brother go still bill you.

. Please how much do you guys here pay for work permit again ? they are even a cases of fake work permits. make i no cast una for here

if you can come to poland come, no problem. but know it not that rosy here. get the right information and see for yourself

As this group cool e be like una done get the Koko. For now forget about studying in Poland. They are going to make their visa harder than before. Students may not be able to work full time from June 2025 and to work go be long process. In the name of whatever you serve avoid this city Wrocław. Wonderful city but your residence card may take forever to get. If you coming in no say God really put eye for your matter. And for those coming to work through study forget it.

Could you kindly advise which is the more ideal accommodation arrangement to get in Poznan Slubice region for a research student, and how to reserve such accommodation, especially as proof of accommodation for visa application?
i advice you check your school accommodation. if you have money check student deport., facebook market and olx. Note in poland you will have to pay a rent and deposit which is always 100 to 150 percent of the rent. also be careful of scams

in this states it is difficult to get your residence Card. The worst is wroclaw people's are waiting for card for 3 years..

With your card you have benefits.

Erasmus you can travel and study in another country and get paid for it.

Credits, if you have a job you can get goods and services and pay on your credit card.

You can get loan

You can travel.

If you are fine getting stuck for years in Poland without enjoying the benefits of studying in Europe then you can go study in this city

Nigeria Premier Football league 2024/2025 season

Rangers were held to a 0-0 draw by El-Kanemi Warriors in the opening game of the 2024/25 season of the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.

Both teams created chances to score in the game but were let down by their poor finishing.

Rangers had goalkeeper Japheth Opubo to thank for his impressive performance.

The Flying Antelopes have recorded just one win in three competitive games this season.

El-Kanemi Warriors make a big impression in their first game in the NPFL after a few years in the Nigeria National League, NNL.

The remaining nine other matchday one matches will be played next weekend.

Hello Everyone!

I know there is a thread already about Giving birth in Brazil. On that thread, I have seen many people make inquiries about study without a lot of response. I decided to open a thread dedicated to studying in Brazil.

Brazil welcomes International students to study in their country and all public Universities are tuition free even for foreigners. Brazil is also trying to encourage International students to come and study here in Brazil, hence they have set up GCUB which is a body that provides funding (grants) to international students who intend to study in Brazil. The funding is a monthly stipend provided to support students while studying. Without it, you can still study for free.

Admission Process
Each faculty decides their own admission process so if you’re interested in a particular course, you’ll need to check the faculty website to see when they usually start their admission process as well as requirements. Some faculties require entrance exams, some don’t. If they do, you’ll make arrangements to write the exam in Nigeria.

Language
Brazil universities are one of the best in the world. Learning language is Portuguese but as an international student, you can request to do your work in English. Depending on your faculty requirements, you may need to write Portuguese proficiency exam or complete a Portuguese course within one year of admission.
Most of the Universities website have the option to view their website in English language at the top of the website. If not you can use your browser’s translation tool to translate the website.

After Gaining Admission
You’ll need to authenticate your documents at the Ministry of foreign affairs and Ministry of Education. You’ll also legalize with the Brazilian embassy in Lagos.
You’ll then apply for your study visa. If you have a study grant, you may not need to prove financially capability, otherwise you’ll need to.

If you know about this process, please feel free to contribute.
i sent you an email
