Business / Re: My Experience After Serving My Oga For 7years Including My Gain And Loss by zrocky: 10:47am On Feb 19
Tallesty1:
Eight out of ten people who passed through this system have sufficient reason to hate women. I was telling someone the same thing just a couple of days ago. My senior bro went through the system, had a single boss when they started and everything was smooth. The man was full of praises, then boom! he decided to get involved with that which vexes all men.

Madam came and messed everything up. He told my brother in clear terms that he would go home with nothing, and there was no reason for that. No quarrels, no fights, no nothing. Just out of the abundance of her wickedness.

When they eventually settled with him, I, who was in secondary school at that time, had more savings than what he got. He swore that none of his siblings would go through that again.

My friend from Anambra has a similar story. He was four years into the agreement when his boss married. She made life hellish for him. It was the boss's mother who visited him briefly and then went home and told Anambra's mom to go and take her child before she kills him.

Chino, my man, was going through the same experience, but when it got to a level he couldn't take, he beat the woman, and that was it for him. The madam received a beating, but she was happy that her husband didn't settle Chino.

There is one I know in our line; he is about 15. He told me that his boss's wife only gives him fish heads, chicken legs and heads when they cook. I told his boss, and he told him to ensure he eats to his fill before going home after work.

Igbo men, many of them are very weak. Their women control them.

Shame on you lots

the owners of most business and major players of trade in Nigeria are the igbos, but the government has yet to build an international sea way out of lagos in the south or east because they want to centralize all investments there. Build a sea port in south or the east and see lagos lose it investments

As per the NBS report, capital inflow into Lagos State totaled $771.68 million during the mentioned period, constituting 65.38% of the total capital influx into Nigeria, which amounted to $1,088.48 billion.

We thank everyone who made this possible. Lagos is open to investments and assures you of great returns on investment.

If you obey our laws and you love and respect our land, people, culture, you will not have problems in Lagos, Lagos will reward you, bless you and your investments. So bring your investments to Lagos today.

More people are bringing their investments to Lagos. Almost $7 out of every $10 imported into Nigeria lands in Lagos, that's a big statement of fact that more people with real money are investing more in Lagos! Follow those who know the road, don't go lose your money and investment elsewhere wink

Thank you UK, Netherlands and Mauritius.

Please bring more investments to Lagos.
God bless Nigeria for ever! Check my signature for free stuffs!
the main reason is because lagos has the only international water way which makes the whole country import and do major business from there. In a sane country this will not be the case.Build another sea port in another state and lagos will 98 percent those investments. Why because do business in Lagos is difficult

But i can't ignore the fact the story doesn't add up. 3 of the rapist are minors and the other 4 are adult( their age was not revealed but that of the victims was revealed undecided). Next is the fact that the 13 year old after the second rape was able to free herself from the 7 guys whom 4 are adult and escape with her boyfriend who was locked away. like is this a james bond movie or what.

Coach Peseiro has gotten his tactics spot on and to be fair to him,he is making the best of what is available to him
It is not a matter of luck, the man has shown an understanding of reading our opponents and creating a system to contain them
From the first game till the one against Angola,he used a very unfamiliar system that is working
The only issue I have with the coach is his inability to make certain changes during our games.
It seems he always plays the same team and he is always reluctant to make changes when the team needs it.
A very good team just needs to study the Nigerian team,it is very obvious that they get tired from around the 60th minute, all that is needed is to bring in fresh legs from around this period that will run at that Nigerian defence, they might eventually collapse
We all Oshimen,Lookman and Simon have played out their hearts and this guys need to rest
Let the coach start the semi finals with one or two fresh legs, why take over 23 players to a competition and you end up playing less than 13

I'm married for twelve years now and my marriage is blessed with two kids all boys, 11 and 9 respectively. Our marriage was also blessed with peace until I discovered my husband dates girls.

The one that pains me most is dating a neighbor who has been my enemy since we relocated to that settlement. My husband has side chicks too numerous to mention and I tried to talk to him but he refused. I left him and went back to my parents house thinking that will make him change and to come and apologize, to my greatest surprise he didn't make a move of putting things in order.

The worst is that the girl in the neighborhood is now living with him sleeping in our Matrimonial bed doing all the house chores and taking my children to school.

I came back and apologized to my husband but he said it's over between us. I love my husband so much that I can't afford to lose him. What should I have done? I expressed my grief of being hurt but it bounced back negatively.

Please advise me on how to restore my marriage.

Ajaokuta steel is lying there abandoned and not active, that alone can solve a whole lot of mess in Nigeria but it must be only oil.

Youth of the country are still sleeping, the few ones in position to make a solid statement are worse than the old corrupt leaders.

When we are all ready for revolution, you can call on me for support.

Meanwhile we should keep praying for asiwaju to succeed because he obviously has good intentions for Nigeria.

we keep blaming the youths. When there is no enabling environment for youth development. how will the youth bring something meaningful to the economy. I have lived abroad for years and I am yet to see a single youth fighting for a better government, it is the older ones that tackle the government while the youths focus on self development and enjoy their youthful years

How many youths are employed or better if I make ask with respect no pun intend how many jobs have you and i where dey established done created. Even if you own your business how long did it take you to create one. Life is a process. It took my boss back then in Nigeria
over 20 years to save and start his business. At the age of 21 he was working at pesi, he was paid well, he could save. The same thing with my parents all where working in their early 20s and they all had their business.

But today in Nigeria a poor man child who will do well in jamb can't even get admission with ease because of tuition fees. They are so many 40 years Olds looking for anything to keep them busy. And mind you for most of the successful ones like us na abroad we dey the make and or with the already family business.

The growth process has been cut of. Just imagine Betta Edu just 1 year she graduated as a doctor she became special adviser to the governor of cross river state, tell me what experiences or qualifications will warrant such appointment. We have so many skilled professionals but because of corruption they can contribute to the economy.

So please give the youths a break. The richest men and women in Nigeria are all criminals and beneficiaries of the corrupt system on ground. All this adeleke money, eh dangote Mike adenuga, obi Cubana them check them and you will see.

So please let's give the Nigerian youth a break. We protest with hunger them kill us. Even the sowore their time see food chop before them protest or no be so.

TV/Movies / Re: What I Think After Watching "A Tribe Called Judah" by zrocky: 2:38pm On Jan 22
Printme:
The movie was cool. A Nollywood movie I actually enjoyed in a long while.

At the same time, I think it reflects on a very key aspect of life that most people never give much thoughts to.

That is, a male child will always need their father.

Regardless of how much a woman will love the male child, they will always need their father to be good influences in the society.

She gave birth to five children and all their fathers were absent. It's a lesson for women. Once you spoil your life, men will continue to chop and go.

No man will ever want to settle and train another man's child.

It doesn't matter how much you try to manipulate them with the "it's a mistake" or "a real man ought to take care of another man's child"

It won't work. They will just chop you and go and probably add their own seeds since you want to be unfortunate that way.

Also, statistics shows that male children raised by single mothers tends to be the "bad eggs" in the society.

And we all saw that in the movie. Not even one of the children turned out fine for the society. Instead, they were filled with that selfish love that put only their needs into consideration and never the needs of others.

And that's the kind of love women can give their children. Only a father's disciplinary love tells the child that other's needs are important.

It is the father that seeks to make sure the male child, no matter how strong he is, he never used that strength for his own benefits alone.

If she had thought the children to protect others and not just herself, they probably would have turned out fine.

Overall, I think the movie was entertaining but the lessons were still there except you choose to ignore it.
abeg can you give me some top Nigerian movies I have not watched a Nigerian movie in years. I will love my family to experience it thank you

Things are really happening in marriage/relationships that i just don’t want to say iet out. What Nigerian men are using our eyes to see. eh! hmmmm! undecided

All what men want is sex!! After sex, they treat you like trash! Some men would even beat and rape their wife and tell her to her face that there’s nothing like rape in marriage. sad. Bunch of sickos!! sad

The honest truth is, there’s nothing a man can bring to my life that I can’t get myself. I enjoy my own company and I don’t feel the need or want to get married. I don’t think it will add anything to my life at all.

I got out of two long term back-to-back abusive relationships in 2020 and have pretty much sworn off men. I don’t need a man to make me happy and I will continue to hate men!
man no be your problem, na you be your problem. Maybe you got daddy issues or your dad was never there for you. Because someone who has experienced a father's love can not type all you said above. Don't take this as an insult but an advice " go for therapy and sort yourself out before it is too late". All the best

Religion / Re: As A Christian Is It Possible To Practice First Fruit In This Harsh Economy by zrocky: 10:55am On Jan 14
guobe:
It is the start of a new year and most Christians do practice the act of fresh fruits whereby your first salary in the year or fresh profit of business, first money of your new marriage etc is given to the church.
In this harsh agbado economy in Nigeria,is it possible to practice the act of giving first fruits.

giving first fruit or not is not a sin. Did you hear anything about it in the new testament. If you are broke and hungry will you pay first fruits and starve. Also don't you have family members that are in need. Jesus said if your only sheep falls in the well on the sabbath day do you ignore it to die, that wisdom. It mean your needs are more important to God that your offering.

All the seed we sow to the church tithes, offering and first fruits are to be used by the church to take care of the pastor and the poor among the members. When was the last time the poor around your church experience that.

All this things don't matter, what matters is how you treat your fellow man and the sincerity of your heart, obedience is better than sacrifices . If you don't have and your faith does not carry you don't do. If your faith carry you go ahead.

The truth is God does not need your sacrifice, he sent Jesus already sorry rest. Oyibo no dey do first fruits, but there are living the best life. Their pastors most work part time to support their family. I live here and I can tell you this people are far more honorable that any pastor in Nigeria.

So I say this if you know your hungry and your faith no strong no do am. Let those in their capacity do as the spirit lead them

You have a point about the fact that those criticizing pastor's could be Atheist, but I believe most are so called Christians. But what does the poster want to do in their thread anyways
Then this forum is a bias. Imagine Facebook or X creating such a rule to protect a group of people. everyone should be given equally on a level playing ground. But your right extremists no Sabi playing ground
Nairaland / General / Re: Nairaland.com Is A Bias Forum by zrocky: 10:34am On Jan 02
Greatzeus:

First there is no Christian section on Nairaland,I believe there should be,but there's none. We have Islam section and religion section. And there are thousands of religions,so it's not a vendetta against Christian directly, just as it isn't against Ogun worshippers or Scientology or Buddha.
Secondly,As a Christian I have never have a problem about acknowledging anything before posting on Islam threads because I don't have any business with Islam threads which is meant for Muslims. What do you want to say exactly on islam topics as a Christian? Be honest,if not to say trash and insult their faith
Thirdly,You will not see topics by Muslims degrading any Muslim sect or abusing their imams. But so called Christians create topics every Sunday to condemn what Adeboye said, and to condemn deeper life because of their simple dressing, and to insult white garments churches, and to accuse one pastor of rape or called them thieves for collecting tithes etc.
Can't you see how vile and toxic you church goers are?
I thank seun for implementing such rule,to discouraged non Muslims from commenting on Islam threads. I can't imagine how terrible it would be on nairaland, the hatred and hate speech would spiral out of country, and consume this forum.
When I joined this forum,I like going to religion section to read Christian topics, but later I stopped, because I don't see topics that could make me grow in faith, instead I see topics by so called Christians condemning and criticizing churches and pastors and judging other Christians dressings and mode of worship and other irrelevant issues.
I'll just answer you simply. How do you know that it is only Christians condemning the pastors, we have atheist flooding the Christian posts with insult even the same Muslims go about insulting Christian too, why can't they be a Christian section where you have to declare Jesus as the lord and only savior. Why is it that the Islam must have a special section and be give preference
Nairaland / General / Nairaland.com Is A Bias Forum by zrocky: 11:43pm On Jan 01
Why should we acknowledge Islam to post in the Islam section of nairaland.com but Muslims and atheist can say anything in the Christian section.

Why is it that Segun or whatever he calls himself will set such a law?

Is Segun an extremist

Or

Is nairaland.com an Islamic forum ?

What is your take on this nairalanders
