Esude007: even here
Though sc719 can tolerate drought My second maize farm has tasseled two weeks ago and was supposed to be due for harvest this week. The cobs for the few available are miserably small. Drought tolerant. But for how long ? I also planted SC510 that is also drought tolerant but for how long can they stay without water/rain ? |

Mrdellychy: You guys should be careful with the ways you dished wrong advice in the public forum. It's misleading. This is Internet, the whole world, not only Naija, is reading. It's not by force to comment on subjects you no little or nothing about. Everyone up here just condemned your initial approval of glyphosate usage on grown maize here you are again dropping another disjointed piece. On another thread, you are also the one who was advising/encouraging farmers to be selling maize @N40 per cob in this period of high cost of production. Will you shut up. I deliberately shunned that not to ruin the relationship between him and the other party. Was I the one who counselled using glyphosate on grown maize. Are you madd ? |

Esude007: don't use them when the crop has emerged.
When u start noticing new weed, check for this 3 things.
(1) Are the weed broadleaf?
(2) Are the weed shamva grass ( spear grass like)?
(3) Are the weed both broadleaf and shamva grass?
If they are broadleaf, use herbicide that have nicosulphuron ( Striker, guardforce etc)
If they are shamva weed, use herbicide that contain halosulfuron ( cornforce)
If both appear, mix both nicosulphuron and halosulfuron.
Note: apply post emergence when the weed are very young.
Maybe when they have 2 to 3 leaf Corn Forcehas been very difficult to find. Boss, could you share names of suitable replacements ? |

I had a power tiller before selling it. If you would get one, make sure the HP is high so it can do rugged work. I.e 10-15Hp. Please do not buy a power tiller with lesser power biko
Please do not buy it and ship inside your wooden package. Let the seller organize people and they do the whole assemblying at the sellers base. It's difficult to find operators who can couple them effectively in rural areas |

The rest of us came to this world to serve him. Nigerians don't know he is trying to completely capture the country and bring it to slavery. The problem is everyone wants to talk these days even when.they do not know the consequences of motives. Dangote must be resisted at all costs |

Asonaijaaso: Dangote should run his refinery independently. If he has good prices, the government will come and beg him. But refinery that has not produced a drop of petrol, yet wants to takeover the whole petrol supply in Nigeria. You can imagine. He wants the country bent over backwards for him eternally. He did it with CBN carted away with free billion of dollars. He did the same with limestone, sugar and salt. His reign must come to an end otherwise Nigeria would be sold to slavery |

Trust me. A liberalized market is always better than a minopilzed industry. Google and read up |

mazamb: Seven Days ago. Glyphosate, 24D and Striker were applied. It is wrong to use Glyphosate on already grown Maize. If your maize survives it, it will be saved only because of the Atrazine present in the other two hebicides. Next time, he should use just the Striker and 24D. |

Bizibi: look as it is it doesn't even matter.....you look at that refinery that is complete and you are making unnecessary complaints. WHO NO GO BOAST SAY THAT TYPE OF GIGANTIC REFINERY DEY HIN COUNTRY.nigerians are always weird sometimes, you complain about dead refineries now someone found a way to build his,you talking about another thing.
I support dangote on this refinery and I pray it works so that it will give investors confidence on our economy.
Make una dey look the bigger picture all the time. My dear leave issues of economics to people who know better. This isnt a subject matter you are knowledgable about. Dangote is not a good human being and isnt good for Nigeria |
Business › Re: You Cannot Dictate Price Of Fuel, Bend Existing Rules – Arewa Youths To Dangote by Zwooks: 10:12am On Jul 29, 2024 |
Bizibi: you have a 20 billion dollars refinery sitting beautifully in Lagos ,a refinery that is a game changer in our economy.bua is building his own in akwa ibom......in the end the two private refineries will open a flood gate of investments to Nigeria.
Investors are observing keenly on how the outcome will be even Reuters international always keep updates on the refinery so all this yappings is just distractions and it will do us no good in the end. Maybe when fuel gets to 1500 brains will begin to reset. Oil contracts are not mere business contracts. There are corporate agreements that would stem into 20 years etc. When Nigeria got broke and needed to stabilize the dollar exchange rates, we where getting all sorts of 500M, $1B to solve the currency crisis. Taking all sorts of loans to manage the economy from Buhari into Tinubu. All of these loans and helps were pegged against long term contracts. Nigeria has not stopped Dangote from refining crude. But the logic of always ripping the country off, i.e getting billion of dollars at 1,000 Naira less than market price, getting funds from PENCOM to finance his refinery construction, dodgy waivers and tax exemptions can not continue forever. Dangote is destroying the country. If he wants to refine crude, fine, let him source for them abroad, import them, pay regular custom duties, refine his crude and sell anyhow he pleases If you look at it one first hand basis, it would appear Dangote was the victim. When we handled him and few criminals cement, it jumped from 2,500 to 4,500 in one week and from 4,500 to 10,000 in one single week. We won't hand over petroleum and ruin the energy security of the country. Never |
