tinubu don loot your brain.
the yam seedlings will purchase the land, brush the land, cultivate itself, do the staking/weeding by itself and harvest itself the same day.
you don't need brain to defend and spew rubbish.
I'm a farmer. No farmer purchases lands. I also know the amount involved. I have been actively involved in farming for five years straight. I know the profit margin involved. Do you know any of these things ? Go and sit down

Arewa Youths should understand that Dangote is not just any businessman; he is a game changer in our economy.

The fuel price is tied to so many variables, and trying to dictate to him is like trying to catch smoke with bare hands.

We need to support our own instead of creating unnecessary tension.

If Dangote thrives, we all benefit. It’s high time we realize that the success of one can lead to the success of many.

Let’s focus on building a better Nigeria together, rather than throwing stones at our own.
Your education is a waste. Show us a single country in the world where a single individual is responsible for the petrol, automobile fuel and the likes the entire country uses. Olodo

Don't you have sense at all?

Didn't you read my comment?

Have you ever heard or seen any Igbo political elite or influential Igbo person in Southeast saying Igboid people in Delta or Rivers state should join Southeast? Is it not people from same Igboid communities in Delta that are making the moves on their own while southeast Igbo politicians are even against it as they are working to have extra state for Southeast caved from current Southeast states of Anambra, Imo and Abia yet Una go de abuse Igbos for what they didn't initiate, na thunder go fire all of una weh de hate Igbos de tarnish our image unjustly, foolish people angry
Theres nothing tk tarnish about the igbos. The reputation is knowwn globally. And there are no brothers across the river. Make una dey una own and leave us alone

Funny enough, the same Yorubas forming love for Delta Igbos just to deceive some Anioma people not to join their Igbo brothers in Southeast are the same people chanting crucify him crucify him to Emefiele because they see him as Igbo man but they never say a word about Hidi Sirika the Fulani man who was former Minister of Aviation that carried out the worst deceit/looting using Nigerian Air.

They never say a word about Aisha Buhari's brother who was the head of printing and minting that headed CBN money printing and minting department that handled the money printing fraud.

They didn't say a word about former EFCC Chairman that did massive looting and corruption in the name of fighting corruption because he is Fulani.

But anytime a Delta Igbo person does something wrong like former Petroleum Minister Ibe Kachikwu, they will start calling for his or her head to be chopped off alive because to them that person is Igbo but when it comes to other political gimmicks that will reduce Igbo land mass and population they will start forming love for Delta Igbos and Igbos in Rivers and will start reminding them that Igbos are vampires, Igbos will dominate them but Yorubas dominating Nigeria is good. Na thunder go fire all of una with una wickedness and treacherous two-face life in Nigeria.

And to some of the real Anioma people, it is your decision to make, if you so wish remain in Southsouth or Delta there is no issue, but remember your identity, other Nigerians will always see you people as Igbos and when you will realize this is when you want to play national politics or when you commit crime, they will remind you that you are Igbo but when they need you for their selfish crude oil politics, they will be forming love for you calling you Niger Delta person hahahahaha

They are using unknown gunmen to blackmail Southeast as if unknown gunmen was there in 2019. It is Buhari and APC that used excessive force to destabilize Southeast but it's for a while, things will soon return to normal. And for the crude oil they are using to deceive you all and blackmail Southeast, no issue at all, time will settle all these.

Please make your choice wisely, majority of Igbos are not concerned about where you guys choose to belong to, its just politicians using it to play their politics, you guys should please desist from using this Anioma state creation political issue among the political elites to slander the name of Igbos because most Igbos dont care about where Anioma people decide to be please, stop tarnishing the name of Igbos because of a political issue most Igbos in Southeast have no hand in, thanks
Oga, stop focring narratives. Ndoka and its kins want to be left alone. Theres nothing kike being joined to the east. Any such moves will trigger an immediate war against all propagators of such ideas. Una dey fear dey una own ?

People that don't live in delta and know nothing about delta have been making noise on this matter since,NDOKWA nation will never be a part of that anioma nation because they (NDOKWA) have never ever been keen on associating themselves with all this south-east shenanigans right from time, those guys have been living with the isokos and orogun urhobo for centuries and have intermarried and even speak the languages confidently. And I repeat again, they know what Biafra did to them during the civil war and they also know that they are being grouped into that anioma story because of their oil. The People making noise from ndokwa today are mostly kids who are under 40 years and don't know anything about their identity, they are naively allowing themselves to be sucked in with the igbos of South-east with knowing what they ought to know.
When the elders speak, we recognise them by their uncommon wisdom. During the Biafra, each family of the Ndokwa/Ukwuani sacrificed a child to death, to ferry good travelling by foot carrying foods and salts and such items to a central market to be transported to core Ndigbo land. That favor was never returned till date. The lives of many families and livelihood shattered many didnt recober even for the next 40 years. Many of the igbo youths do not even know of these sacrifices yet would constantly pompously throw it in their faces. Most families lost the sacrificed family member. Most families where also pursued kilometers away from their land because they didnt want anyone in the proximity of reach to the igbos, it was a total disaster. The under40-50s who werent told these events do bot know the narratives and the demerits of joining to the SE which has absilutely no benefits to the entire Ndokwa)Ukuani and close kins

And that is why a foodstuff seller who bought a tuber of yam at benue for 1200naira decided to sell the same tuber of yam for 5000naira in lagos ?? 400% profit on just one tuber of yam?? Smh...

The funny thing is that those will bring all these things from the farm do not even claim it is fulani herdsmen or whatever that caused it..the excuse they all keep giving is that it is cost of transportation to other places that are making it expensive..and you begin to wonder if it is only a single tuber of yam that they will transport at once that made them to want to gain 400% on just a tuber of yam yet the same set of people will say government is selfish , heartless and greedy..meanwhile you are a citizen are doing exactly the same behaviour displayed by your government..you as a citizen is greedy too..because how will someone buy a yam for 1200 and sell for 5k..and claim it is transport that caused it ...is he or she buying their own fuel at 10000naira per litre ?? Or those that decided to sell that same yam for 2k in lagos are not transporting too huh Or they do not like money too?? Smh.. it is well
Thank you O. Of which big yams in the rurals is 3000 Naira when buying in one or two, imagine large scale buyers can get it at 2,500 and even lesser, and can load a bus with up to 50,000 if possible, but once it reaches the city, problem. I have been eating yams all through this year and have never spent more than 2,000 Naira per piece of medium sized yams btw

Good for you but not for everyone in the long run, since you are not encouraging others to divert their resources to farm until prices drop to an equilibrium level, below which they will move their resources again to something else that is CURRENTLY more profitable.

Do you understand this basic economics huh
That's why you youths hardly grow. You want to take every occasion as an opportunity for banter, rather than keep quiet to learn what you don't know and by so improve

Let me ask you do you know the average cost of setting up a farm per acre ?

Now, I have solid blue prints and working experiences on cultivating as much as the entire food produce we can cultivate in the tropics.

Do you know that apart from exotic crops like cashew, sweet corn, that 500,000 Naira adequately covers an acre of land production of almost any crop ? Have you heard this information anywhere in your miserable life before ? So, while farmers spend 500k per acre, they want to sell and make 2.5 M per 500k spent per production yet they do large acreage.

You're not in my league, I won't respond to your mentions any longer minion

if the price of fuel goes down and the dollar rate goes down, every other thing will go down drastically because na this 2 factors dey control our economy.

so blame those that float the naira and removed subsidy without thinking about the push back. the farmers has no hand in it. you dont expect me to put 5k in cost of production and sell less.

The thing with personnel is continuous experimentation. That's what I've learnt so far because people would come in motivated from day one, ones they've gotten used to you, they begin to slack off work which ultimately leads to work decline

You will meet me on that path already. Would be expanding to 1,000 acres next year enroute my team's target of 5,000 acres with heavy yam production in the system. Yams shouldn't retail more than 4,000 - 5,000 Naira per piece for any reason. I am currently working on a model to quash down pricing if maize, pepper and tomatoes 2024/2025

They have become this way. They don't care. Even when we hire them to do labour jobs, many times we educated farmers pay thrice for a single job. They just want to collect and collect and collect exorbitant rates for everything, from logistics to labour to the sales of their farm produce. The educated elites in Nigeria do not support educated farmers. There are techniques to mass produce yams, I am talking of up to One Million yams in just two years that the local farmers do not know if. But does Nigeria as a nation provide funding for research and developments ? Nigeria is also suffering from it's innate wickedness in all these too

No. I stay and interact with farmers daily. They have developed a strong appetite for excessive money. Let me shock you. Most farmers do not eat rice, but grow their potatoes and cassava they use for various foods like Garri, cassava flour etc. ice stayed with farmers on a day to day basis for over three years so i know their behaviors intimately

One problem I have realized with people who do these applications,is that they only want to run the length and breadth of the farm. If the weeds do not adequately soak up adequate mixture, they many times won't die o. This is where the challenge lies. But your chemical mixture is perfectly fine, my farm did the same two weeks back, it was the eight day after spraying they died. Give it three more days before you reach conclusions

Armyworm can become adapted to a particular pesticide when used over time.

So if u apply pesticide that contain Cypermetrin this week, change to pesticide that contains either benzoate or Lambda cyhalotrin next week.

Can I know the names of the chemicals you applied ?

Who did the herbicides application, did you do it personally or you hired farm workers to do it for you ?

I am.seeing signs of the weeds slowly affected. You should know that some herbicides will show it's work during a 7-8 days period. If correctly applied, you will need the 7-8 days of waiting to see them die completely sometimes ( depending on the chemicals used )
