tech giants, Google recently concluded their event which brought a lot of things into highlight such as the pixel phone, daydream vr, google home and a whole bunch of other stuff, back to the topic, the pixel phone's 12.3 mp camera had an amazing 89 according to dxomark,beating the recently released iphone 7 which had a score of 86,it also beat the samsung galaxy s7 and htc 10 with both having a score of88, this is the highest score ever scored by a mobile phone. full details here from Dxomark other specs include a hd amoled screen,32gb/128gb int storage, android nougat (as expected), bluetooth 4.2, usb type c, 4gb ram with a snapdragon 821 processor and a finger print sensor. the inbuilt google assistant is also cool. what d you think about it?

But that's one of the problem in Nigeria, we lack innovation and creativity, outside, these languages are very important languages. But the way our economy is sef, you'd have to ignore that and go for what brings in money, in Nigeria it's more of money>passion while outside, it's passion first. We rather get a job than create a job. (and yeah, I know it's not everyone )

There are lots of immature comments from people who think they are making sense, just because the OP wrote God, atheists are beginning to run mad, the OP was just relating his own faith with his experience. Any other person with any other faith would have acknowledged whatever they believe in. So just because you don't believe in his faith doesn't mean you should start ranting, itz like a Buddhist acknowledging his faith for giving him a safe journey for instance and i start making noise saying things that it's his carefull driving, paying attention to traffic signs and things like that just because we have different beliefs. Of course i wouldn't agree with his faith because we have different faiths, but that doesn't mean i would start ranting.

I don't see allo beating whatsapp any time soon, building a user base would take a very long time telegram, hike messenger, viber, hangouts are all better than whatsapp, but building a user base is a huge problem

You have to start from somewhere - web development. Take for instance, if I want to use machine learning/AI in my web app , I have to be a web developer and also have knowledge of machine learning. You can do almost anything with web development these days. You grow from one level to another.

true, but most Nigerians don't apply these, they just build a simple website with basic principles html, css, php, mysql and stuff like that, web apps are the future of the web, but most Nigerians aren't actually interested in these other fields, so applying all the other field in their web app would be a problem.

I might be wrong though, but based on the people I know, most of them are interested in web development. Not that it's actually a bad idea, but i would like to know why. I hardly see developers who are interested in fields like machine learning/ai, computer security, computer vision, speech processing and stuff like that. I believe these are interesting fields, but why do most Nigerians go into the web.
Ps: if you're a web developer, you could start by telling us why you love it.
