He goes by the name ‘MR GENERALL’ real names ‘ORIDO AKPOBARO GIFT’ born Feb. 5 1985 in Warri city ,Nigeria. He is a proud agricultural economics graduate of Delta State University.
He has always been in love with music since he was very young. He started music at a very tender age Right in church in the children choir also doing kid choreography popularly known as kingdom dance in Nigerian churches and schools .As he grew older he never relented ,he took every opportunity he got to showcase his talent. During his teenage years he composed gospel raps and performed them in church. Even during his university days, he was that musical kid everyone loved and admired because he took the lead role in bringing Gospel rap bring to the school church.
Professionally he kicked off in 2003 when he started making his own beats.
He became the most popular Musician on campus the day he performed a song titled "WELCOME TO ANWIA CAMPUS "with a catchy hook – (the school when you go blow awoko till your head go burst)- ‘Awoko means reading overnight or studying so hard” .It became so popular that lecturers started singing the song during lectures and so it was fame for five years in school and doing so many shows both in and out of campus.
Stepping his game forward he did a song for MTN titled "Yhello dis na mtn for mid night calls".That same year 2008 we performed the song at MTN extra cool tour with 2face in Enugu.
As a patriotic citizen of Nigeria, while serving my nation as a corper 2010, I did a song for my country titled Naija @ 50 and performed live to top members of the Nigerian government at the international conference center Abuja .
.He decided to drop his 1st official single titled ‘oyene kwu’ ‘ meaning who be dat or who dey talk’ just to let the world know that he not just here to thrill you all with good music but here to stay .
