Hi there,i would like to kno frm any agent in the house or any one with personal experience if one has to pay duty on peronal use left in the boot of a contenarised car.For example,i am thinking of buying baby stuffs like,a cot,a stroller,a car seat etc to come with d container that is about to leave for Nigeria.thanks and God bless.

Those are declared as "personal effects". you don't hv to pay duty for those items. Please note, if the items are many, yu'd need to settle custom somehow.

You have said it all, if those items are much I mean in a commercial quantity that when you will pay duty on it. Where the custom officer will issued you a DN ( Demand Notice) and assessment Notice for the payment. But since it not much it just a personal effect you will just give them there normal P.R.O
