The State Security Service on Wednesday morning paraded six men, who allegedly killed Olaitan Oyerinde, the Principal Secretary to Edo State governor.
The men were paraded in Abuja at a press briefing by the spokesperson for the agency, Ms. Marilyn Ogar.
Oyerinde was killed in his residence in Ugbor area of the Edo State capital, Benin, by four gunmen on May 4, 2012.
The ‎​suspects are Mohammed Abdullahi, Raymond Origbo, Chikezie Edeh, Saidi Yakubu (aka Imam), Sani Abubakar and Hassan Bashiru.
When the suspects were interviewed by journalists, they said it‎​ was a robbery operation that went awry. They also said they never intended to kill Oyerinde.
