Something was amiss in that race. There must have been a lot of pressure on her and that maybe because she was about the only medal hope. people should leave the athletes alone to do their best and not try to harrass with calls in the name of giving them 'encouragement'!

Is absolutely hurtful,funding and sending these athletes and sports officials for games like this,is nothing but a total waste of tax payers funds.Those that have no business being there will lobby to be included,which amounts to an additional financial burden. Blessing Okagbare was just not good enough to win the 100 Metres Women's Final. Mary Onyali was better than Okagbare in her active days, yet she did not medal in the 100 Metres event at the Olympics. She was the African Champion and Commonwealth Games Medalist though . Winning at the Olympics needs solid preparation and Mental Stability. Cheers.
