It was indeed a sad day for people who witnessed the accident that occurred at around 4:01pm today along Enugu-Onitsha expressway. It was gathered that a trailerconveying unknown goods to Onitsha was the cause of the accident. The trailer’s brake failed and killed four people at the spot . It also damaged 21 vehicles in the process. A motorcyclist, hawker and a child beggar wereamong the four people that died, while the vehicles that were damaged were mostly commercial buses and some private ones too.
