Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Harvard University and Berkely University in EdX offers online courses that include opportunities for professor-to-student and student-to-student interactivity, individual assessment of a student's work and for students who demonstrate their mastery of subjects, a certificate of mastery will be awarded.

Anant Agarwal, former Director of MIT's Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, serves as the first president of edX. EdX's goals combine the desire to reach out to students of all ages, means, and nations, and to deliver these teachings from a faculty who reflect the diversity of its audience. they will not give you the kind of Honor Mastery Certificate Harvard, MIT and Berkely Univeristy will give you, you can use that to work anywhere in the world and it will standard out, CS50x started yesterday by Harvard University, anyone can still join from any where in the world. It's very fun and lovely, I'm loving it, already meeting new people from Nigeria and the rest of the world

CS50 is Harvard University's introduction to the intellectual
enterprises of computer science and the art of programming for
majors and non-majors alike, with or without prior programming
experience. Both on campus and off, CS50 draws quite the
spectrum of students, including "those less comfortable," "those
more comfortable," and those somewhere in between. However,
what ultimately matters in this course is not so much where you
end up relative to your classmates but where you, in Week 11, end
up relative to yourself in Week 0.
Much awaits you, so here's how to begin:

Thanks Bro, It was by God's grace. It was quite challenging, most times i spend 3-4 days solving the weekly problem sets. I learnt a lot. Not just how to use python, but how to apply the knowlegde in solving real world problems, ranging from robotics, to randomization to medicine, simulation etc. The spring edition of the course is online already, interested persons can still register.

The certificate would be issued on the 28th of January.
