Those people you read about who became millionaires overnight (unless they hit the lottery) didnt really become millionaires overnight.Succeeding at anything takes time but that time can be shortened somewhat by applying a few techniques to the process.
1. Make a plan.  A plan is like a road map that shows you where you are now and the best route to use to get to where you want to be.Those who "fail to plan, plan to fail" as the wise old saying tells us. Dont just think a plan in yourhead...you wont remember all the little twists and turns along the road...write it down in black and white and in as much detail as you can. Each and every day, do at least one thing that will advanceyour progress toward your goal.
2. Learn.  Learn everything you can about your chosen subject.Knowledge is power. Surround yourself with information and organize it so that you can easilyaccess the particulars in any area. There is no detail so small that it doesnt merit your searching out every scrap of information about it
3. Roll model or mentor: if u can find sum1 hu has succeeded in d field u ar pursuing, associate urself as closely as u can wit d pesn. Firsthand knwldge is more valuable than any other kind. Sucsfl ppl hav already made mistakes & they kan help u avoid some pitfals. They can help u 2 open doors 4u dat would remain firmly closed without dia help 2 open them.
4. Apply wat u learn: use d knwldge dat u gain 4rm ur own research & 4rm ur rollmodel or mentor. Put it in2 action as soon as u kan . . . and d sooner d beta.
5. Never give up: ova9t sucex hapns bcus u won't take 'no' 4 an answer. Wen u knockd down. . . u get up. When door closes . . .u crawl tru a window.
