Why is Essien sitting permanently on d bench?i prefer his style of play to mikel's or orscar.he's d only player who positions himself for setpiece rebounds..

When its raining, the only thing we can do is to let it rain.

When a team is good, the only thing we can do is to let them flourish.

Chelsea is good!

And I'm proud of my club!

Anyone who says 'Torres is back' needs to go back 4 yrs, watch the guy play. Then realise how much of an insult that is to his former self.

Six points out of six is definitely a good return for Chelsea. The big headache for RDM would be the midfield; Mata, Lampard, Hazard, Mikel, Essien and Ramirez are good enough to start ANY game. I still think that the injured Marko Marin when fit, should be a starter as he would give CFC a natural width. Then both Cole and Ivanovic wouldn't have to overlap so much.

He seems to be only comfortable with those thru passes where He can charge at defenders on the run.

Sometimes I really don't understand when He get's a short pass in the 18 yards, dribbles a defender and you think He's gonna pull the trigger...but No, He then turns and tries to take another touch and ofcourse most defenders just close in on him and take the ball off him.

@Super1759: Chelsea may bid for an additional striker, but that fellow must endure a lengthy spell on the bench. It seems that with the departure of Drogba, Torres is now the main Target man for CFC. And even if RDM want to start with 2 strikers in a game, the nod for the second striker position would surely go to Sturridge. I'll advise Victor Moses to remain at Wigan in order to be guaranteed a starting spot in most games.

cheddarking: 2 defenders score non-headed goals...and Torres had to score offside...

RDM just needs to play 5-4-0

Bro wat do u mean? Watch ur selection... U said 5-4-0. That's 9 now instead of 10. U too dey hateful. Torres is d main man. It doesn't matter if it's off side or not. Goal na goal once it stand. So take ur case to linesman or Oga ref.

Essien is gud playa but he plays more offensive leavin his position open for attack.Unlike Mikel who stays and stabilize the midfield.
