ha ha ha people are just after quality drugs. No buyer is going to ask u first are u operating a chemist or pharmacist b4 buying. There is competitn everywhere besides company that manufacture drug in chemist is same company that manufacture drug in pharmacy. U guys shud nt discourage him.

Yeah, that is if you're allowed to stay.
If the guy that owns the pharmacy near you wants you to go, you'll be out even before you rent expires.
If you're not a pharmacist and you want to open a pharmacy shop, you'll spend up to half a mil before you can start. ie if it's in the city.
If you run a pharmacy shop in a village, registration is out of the question cos the pharmacy council won't have the time to go there.

Any body that says it's a lie that they don't give license for chemist in the city should go and try it now. The funniest and most unfortunate thing is that say bye to all the money spent.

I want to suggest you go to ministry of health at Alausa to make inquiry. I think that will lay all this argument to rest and you will have first hand information.

I will give u some fact on how to go about the business....I use to have a pharmacy shop in bayelsa 2006/2008 and sold it off because I want to travel out and there is no one that could take care of it .......(1)look for a shop in a nice and clean environment and it must be standard size of shop .....remember pharmacy shop size is not thesame with chemist store,becos the ministry are going to come inspect the size of the shop and the environment before they could approve u as pharmacy shop.
(2)Make sure ur six pole far from any pharmacy around if at all there is any.
(3)Get a pharmacist ready who u going to use he's licence to register ur pharmacy,when all this are ready the pharmacist will file for u with he's licence and the given name u want to use for the biz......it takes some months before u get approval,remember u gonna pay the pharmacist monthly no fix price but u guys can negotiate on the price being a new business and he must be present atleast 3x a week incase u do not want him to work permanently......but since ur starting new I suggest u let a specialist work with u until ur perfect in the biz.
(4)Make sure u buy correct drug and not fake nor expired product.
