Giving full attention and obedience to God’s commandments should be a daily obligation that must be valued. Seeking WISDOM and INSIGHT into all circumstances aren’t bad, but the right thing to do. Asking the Lord to give you UNDERSTANDING would not be frown upon either. These 3 qualities will enable you to overcome life’s challenges successfully. Having the mindset of the man who sold all he had in order to buy the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 13:44), or the woman who swept her entire house in order to find a lost coin (Luke 15:, to search for these 3 features is not too much to ask for.
WHAT SHOULD DRIVE THE NEED TO SEEK THESE 3 ELEMENTS?
• The fear of God is the foundation of wisdom – Proverbs 1:7
• God is in Control - Isaiah 45: 6-7: “That people may know, from the rising of the sun and from the west, that there is none besides me; I am the Lord, and there is no other. I form light and create darkness, I make well-being and create calamity, I am the Lord, who does all these things.” -
Only fools say in their heart that there is no God and refuse to acknowledge him (Psalm 14:1). It is impossible to become wise through hard-headed observation alone.

God grants wisdom. From his mouth comes knowledge and understanding – (Proverbs 2:6). How?
• Not through human wisdom and understanding, but via the HOLY SPIRIT AND THE WORD OF GOD - 2 Peter 1:20-21
• COMMON SENSE - Proverbs 2:7

These 3 spiritual gifts will become the following to you :
• Shield from evil – Proverbs 19:23
• Shall aid and enhance your decision making process and lead you thru the right paths of life – Isa 30:21
• Shall help you in making the right choices in life- 2 Kings 5: 5-14
• Shall keep you safe from evil people/powers – Proverbs 11:14
• Shall give you insight into the kinds of spirits that work in people with evil intentions – Gal 5:19-21
• Keep you from immorality - 1 Thess 4:3- 5
• Attract the right people into your life – Galatians 4: 6
• Become your light thru the valley of darkness – Psalms 18:28
• Enable you to do things beyond your human capability – 2 Cor 9:10
• The favour of God will follow you – Prov 3:4

Those who refuse to fear God and lack wisdom, knowledge and understanding will inherit the following:
• Remain in darkness – Proverbs 2:13
• Doomed – Ezekiel 7:7-10
• Hell shall become their eternal residence – Revelation 14:11

CONCLUSION
PROVERBS 2:20-21
“Follow the steps of good men instead, and stay on the paths of the righteous. For only the godly will live in the land and those with integrity will remain in it but the wicked will be removed from the land and the treacherous will be uprooted”

Only those who make wise choices will live in the land (inherit a peaceful life); those who do not will be evicted (Removed from the presence of the Lord. Peace becomes alien to them)

PROVERBS 3: 5-6
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take”
On the paths of wisdom, God himself guides us by the wisdom embodied in his Word
PROVERBS 2:10
“For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will fill you with joy”
