"Next tomorrow" Vs "Day after tomorrow" by Tats(m): 10:53pm On Jan 14, 2008 |
Most Nigerians generally use "next tomorrow" in place of "day after tomorrow" when speaking English. If you do use it, has it ever occured to you that it is not correct and should only be used when speaking Nigerian Pidgin english? Your views please. |

calyx: "In the next two days", implies sometime tomorrow or the day after tomorrow - so this may also be wrong. I think you meant to say "in two days time". "The day after tomorrow" is not actually wrong it may just sound long winded, I suppose. "Next tomorrow" is pidgin like the original poster said. If a foreigner speaks with you they will pick this up as being unusual. 1 Like |
