Insomnia Yearning for forty winks Hanging on delusional reveries Unhinging fettered fantasies Chasing soporific illusions Coming around again Those tempestuous ruminations Beguiled anguished musings Racking the crevices of my lobes Spasmodic visions of you Endless jactitations taking over Cravings leave me feverish Leaving me wet and shivering Blissful calm comes sweeping Tagging after waves of ecstasy My eyes close and I drift into oblivion Teetering on the brink of sanity |
