We are seeking outstanding candidates to join our expanding team as Global Venture Development Intern.

Our Global Venture Development (GVD) team is the global taskforce of our best people who build up Rocket's companies worldwide. As GVD Intern, you will join an early-phase start-up in Lagos, to become an interim-member of the founding team and help build up all functions necessary for a successful internet company. You will drive a specific function such as online marketing, product development, supply management, and operations. Daily responsibilities include: market research, coordinating international communication, building up our international supply chain, negotiating with business partners, and setting up local teams.

The GVD Intern Program
Rocket Internet's GVD Intern program is very challenging and rewarding. You will get a 360° perspective on internet start-ups, learn day-to-day management, and build functional expertise. You will be part of an international team of very motivated and talented people. Rocket is moving at high speed, and will provide you with immense opportunities for initiative, creation, and leadership. We extend offers to our best GVD Interns to join us permanently.

Qualified candidates must have the following attributes:

- A proven track record of personal, academic, and professional achievements and demonstrated leadership
- High drive and ambition to perform, independence, flexibility and speed
- Entrepreneurial spirit, strong analytical skills and hands-on attitude, with a strong interest in internet start-ups
- Geographical mobility and international experience
- Fluency in English and other languages
