Grasscutter (aka Bush meat or Nchi in Igbo) is an important source of meat in Sub-saharan Africa besides poultry and beef. In fact it is said to be the most expensive meat in West Africa. I am fascinated about having a backyard livestock farm as part time business and I think rearing of Grasscutters is my best bet. Please I need information on what is required to take-off. I would appreciate any advice or contact from anyone who has experience in this regard. Thank you |
