I suppose you are on windows... So download gnu mingw compiler http://mingw.org |

i started learning c++ two days ago and i have written two working apps with codeblocks.you can get it from here http://sourceforge.net/projects/codeblocks.berlios/files/codeblocks-10.05mingw-setup.exe/download |
