Would You Buy A Car With Registration Number Inscribed All Over The Car? by Nobody: 3:18pm On Oct 15, 2012
Hello Folks,

Pls i need to sample an opinion on this? Would you buy a car from someone with registration number (plate number) inscribed on the windscreens, door handles, headlights etc. Will it reduce the market value of the car when you want to sell it?

thanks for your advice!!!

depends on how neatly inscribed the numbers are..and also where they are...but personally, i feel number inscription is outdated and no one would like to do it...the major thing to look out for in a car is how neat the car is totally..I also dont think number inscription would reduce the value of the car since its not a Yoruba lady with full tribal marks on her face..

. Guy. Ur neva take ur malaria drug? Lol. Like redcliff said if itz neatly done no biggie. Number inscription on cars are good cos it wards off car parts thieves. In coal camp enugu, I have heard abt a case of a young man dat recovered his nt so sound body wise car fully pimped by d buyer that bought it when it was stolen. What did d magic for him was dat d new buyer innocently came 2 buy d broken light so he recognised his number on light casing

inscribing numbers on the glass and body parts of cars actually discourage theft as the would be thief thinks of the hassles involved in replacing all those glasses and windscreens with blank ones...he wont steal ur car......most cars that are stolen are the ones the owner didnt inscribe the numbers...thieves look out for details like this on the road b4 they strike and snatch ur car!!!!
