It is a pleasure to welcome you to this room.One may easily say "it is of no use/of less values to create another room on this forum pertaining to WEIGHT in the presence of innumerable rooms on weight loss". Scanning through other rooms,I found some lapses,which I will like to correct with the creation of this room. THESE ARE THE AIMS AND OBJECTIVES BEHIND THE CREATION OF THIS ROOM: To orient and enlighten people on weight and its related issues. To create a cordial relationship between people having weight related problems (weight loss/gain) and people having practical solutions to them. And to promote fitness and healthiness of people in our community.

Hope this won't be like other weight topics.They are only interested in losing weight and when those of us who wanna gain weight seek opinions,no body responds.Its just a one-sided issue.

For whatever reason it may be,acquiring extra pounds is not as easy as it may seems.Don't mind those that give unhealthy or unyielding ways of gaining weight within a short period of time.For many people,gaining weight can be just as difficult as losing it.But there is no need for supplement or weight gain pills.Gain sustainable weight in a natural and healthy way through these practicable steps. D I E T. 1.Eat nutritious foods that are high in calories,e.g. whole-grain breads,rice,potatoes,corn,semo,fufu,etc. Your meal should also include proteins such as beans,red meat,poultry(meat and egg),fish,bananas should not be left behind as it contain high calories,and vegetables. 2.Boost the caloric value of your meals by adding powdered milk to custard,pap,oatmeal,etc. 3.Avoid skipping meals and increase your normal portion.Gaining weight involves consistent eating.Eat 3-4 meals daily with the interval of 3-4 hours and add at least two snacks but avoid junks and fast foods. 4.Balance your caloric intake with the amount of calories you burn.You need more than what you use. 5. Although, it seem logical to bulk up,but for healthy living avoid excess fats and artificial sweeteners.Eat fats,oils,and sugar in moderation,they should account for no more than 30% of your total caloric intake.

Things that can make you remain skinny. -hormonal imbalance. -presence of large/numerous worms in the alimentary canal. -ineffective assimilation of digested food by the villi.
