The Nigerian students association here bought a projector so that we can watch Nigerian match on a wide screen with our friends. At first match, the non-Nigerians we invited gave up on Nigeria and started supporting cote'ivore. They said Nigeria is no more nigeria they knew at US 94 and Atlanta 96.

Second match, the crowd increased with more friendz to watch. They said they wanted to see Nigeria score goals. They girls were there to cheer us up when Nigeria scores a Goal. We watched the match at about 4 am. You can imagine, we had to cut our sleep short just to watch Nigeria play. We wasted our time again. We slept angry. We all vowed not to watch the last match. We gave our projectors to our cameroonian friends, they wanted to watch on a big screen too to celebrate and we enjoyed yesterday's match, Cameroon 5-1 Zambia.

We talked alot about the Naija team, but Naija team showed nothing good bout it.

something similar happened here in England. Al our foreign counterpart came to support us but ended up embarrasin us with laughter and comments like "Nigeria's crap". Tht we cldnt manage a goal in both games is minor but the shame was too much for most of us to bear. I definitely wont be watchin the Benin game. No way.
