We should develop cheap building materials from local resources like clay, sand, wood etc.
I wonder why using wooden slab for decking is not popular in Naija.

With limited land in Lagos, a poor/regular family can use a half plot to build a small duplex if decking is cheap enough and still have some space for kids to play.

Clay can be used to produce roofing material.

Also people/companies should come up with ready-made slabs and walls that you can just assemble into a house almost like a bunkbed.

Government can help family with cheap loans to afford these cheap houses.
