Mine has been minimal would rather leave the meat in the plate instead of the embarrassment.

Was invited by ex girlfriend's family to a buffet in a 5 start hotel in Lagos, i thought i had chosen a very soft meat only to discover it DAMN HARD. well i form like say nothing do me.

When i couldn't keep fooling myself with fork and knife, i started using my hands. Before i could say jack, the meat first fell on my shirt, my trouser before dropping on the floor.

The table was silent for like 10seconds.
Omo, i boned them, picked it up, dusted it and continued eating.

Everyone one that table were over friendly after that situation. Na so old and small drop fork and knife begin use hand tear meat.


But till date i still feel embarrassed when i remember. but i am glad i earned their respect at being natural

After my post Ume exams in Unilag, my sister took me to eat in one restaurant within the premises. They gave me 2 pieces of meat along with my rice. Now I usually eat my meat bit by bit along with the food when am @ home but cos here was different, I scooped one straight into my mouth. I chewed and chewed and chewed till my mouth got weak and my temples started aching and finally spat it out in my working sheet. My sister ate d 2nd meat.

I cant joke with tough meat in the public i,God forbid. But if it mistakenly enter my hand for house in privacy,i go show am say,i be tougher!

D day i went 2 my girl's house 2 celebrat ha birtdy wt ha friends. during refreshmnt, i ws offered peppe soup n a bottle of legend, likwise evry oda persn. I ws chewing a vry tough meet 4 mor dan 15 minutes n it seems lik evry1 noticed it. So immediately i swallowd d big meet n it hung in my throat n my eyes spewd. D girls begn 2 form " hey, guy y na,u wud hv spit out d meet" my girl ws embarrassd n i madddddddd. Some were sayn "my guy cnt 4k up lik ds, hvnt u eatn meet b4?" i cnt evn say a word cos d meet ws still dia n my eyes still spewd

After enough eating of the meat.it hang on my teeth,I used tooth remover to no avail (19 tooth pic)
My babe con show and I was not able to kiss her which I was not comfortable with theu out d day.
Do they 've a machine to remove hang meat from the tooth

I go chop for one place during the 1 hour break at work. Battling a meat, the whole plate turned and splashed all over my white shirt. I used a newspaper to cover the spots, took the shortest route back to my desk, without greeting anybody along the way so as not to get noticed and quickly put on jacket(which I normally hang when I get to office in the morning and put on only when going home). I was in my jacket from that break time till closing. My friend that saw me started laughing at me and since that day anytime I'm in my full jacket morning till closing, he suspects something is wrong with my shirt, and he right 70% of times

Stubborn meat embarrass me never! No be lie if see them I sabi them. I will rather eat the food without meat than embarrassing myself.

Tough meat? E get the one wey happen wen I go party.dem come serve me meat wey strong die! I just put the meat for mouth chop am till party finish,the meat no gree soft.na im my oga ask me, "sweetie,don't tell me you are still eating that meat" and I replied "no honey,I am eating chewing gum".God punish that meat as e no gree soft,I just throway the edioot wey wan spoil my fine teeth for me.

My experience with tough meat was not only embarrassing, it was also life threatening. I remember this one episode that happened in a cafeteria of a hospital where I was doing my internship and it was on a christmas day. The meat was unusually hard that particularly day but unknown to me I thought it was the usual soft and tender meat. Oboy when I put the thing for mouth and started chewing I couldn't believe it was meat oooo I thought it was a leather belt. I kept on chewing and chewing and chewing but the meat refused to be pulverized, I then decided to swallow the meat whole. Lo and behold it went down the wrong tube and I started coughing vigorously and was almost being chocked to death. Thank God for the intervention of my colleagues who performed a helmich manoeuvre, if not I for don die ooo

I did a job with a friend 4 Eko hotels & was offered a free buffet @ their staff canteen during break. i simply washed my hands to eat the meat while my friend sitting elbow to elbow kept struggling with d cutlery ignoring my advice to tow my humble path. while still forcefully trying to cut d strong meat, pepper jumped from his plate straight to my chest! ....& i was wearing white!!
I felt like giving him a black eye.
i was made to look like an 'o-n-i-j-e-k-u-j-e' with the pepper stamp for the remainder of the day while he kept laffing.....@ eko hotel! imagine the shame!!!

Mine is actually a terrifying experience at d local buka. The owner is notorious 4 her peculiar brand of extra tough meat, but why people (including me) still keep going there in droves is beyond me.

Anyway na so i order 4 my rice and stew and predictably, d meat could easily pass for a leather wallet. I no too mind sha, as i had successfuly demolished them in past so i didn't think this one would pose any problem. How wrong i was.

Na so i chop rice finish come begin attack d thing. I chew, chew, chew for where. At last i say make just swallow the whole. Gbam na there yawa come gas. E just hook 4 my throat, refusing to move down. I then noticed was having difficulty breathing. WTF?! I WAS CHOKING! It was d most frightening experience i can ever remember having. Its like having an invisible hand squeezing my neck.

Na so water come begin commot my eye. (no be say i dey cry o, but i no kno why water come dey) some people then came to my aid tapping and rubbing my back. Choking, Coughing, panting, wheezing. . .then at one final heave, the useless thing fell out of my mouth. See wetin meat wan cause. Needless to say that was d last time i visited that place.

I have probs wit one of my front teeth, its a crown...if I bite hard it can fall off xposing d embarrssing wide gap! So I respect myself n stay away from hard meat both home n away! But there was this my friend's bach eve I was drunk n forgot, I carry chicken tore it n my tooth flew off ddint observe the missing teeth until d following morning when I was sober! Had to arrange some 40k for another tooth! Since den me n chicken eeehn! I prefer fish n very soft meat!!!
