Human Brain Processes Faster Than Intel Core 2? by nazzyon(m): 2:20am On Jan 31, 2008
The human brain has about 100 billion neurons firing 200 times per second. If we assume that each unique firing event represents a functionally meaningful computational operation (doubtful), then the computing power of the human brain is about 20 trillion operations per second, roughly 20,000 times faster than the Intel Core 2.

There has been lots of research works to improve human being. There are series of AI projects going on right now; ranging from survival of human being to upgrading humans.

We as Nairalander can start a community to start our own projects. No matter how little it may be.

It is just a suggestion.

so explain how your brain can process images from your eyes, coordinate your fingers while typing, process and store audio information from sounds around you etc. . .

that was a no-brainer, my friend (pun intended  grin)

while the human brain is running background services - processing images, audio, hand eye coordianation etal how many applications can be run at a time? (can i compose this answer while also balancing my checkbook, and driving my car?
