Philipmems: Probably because most Nigerians lack the basic first aid technique in handling gun shot wounds, Secondly, if you take him to the hospital you would have to get a police report meaning you might be detained by the police. You would also need to deposit some money at the hospital before proper medical attention will be given to the victim. the police might cook up a story to suit them thereby tagging you as an accomplice to armed robbery... the list is endless.. my broda
