hammedkola: Not only Glo but all our mobile network provider's data service is bad these days

Other network internet service may be bad but, Glo is not connecting at all.

strangest: Mine has not been connecting for the past 4-6days... Called their customer care, after like an hour a lady picked up and told me that they are working on it and she also collected my phone number and promised that she will call me as soon as it has been rectified, that was yesterday till today, no call from them... This is already affecting my online study cos I ve missed some assignments... GLO, you guys better do something or am leaving..

It does not take up to 1 hour before a customer care representative will answer you if you called 121, it usually takes about 30 minutes. Meanwhile, calling 171 is fast but, you have to pay N20 for the call.

JideTheBlogger: Yes, Some Glo numbers have been unable to connect to the internet since Friday despite the fact that you will see full signal strength on your device. I am browsing fine on my PC but cant browse on my iPad and BB. I hope Glo will fix the problems with the affected numbers asap.

I use my LG GX500 as a Modem to connect to my laptop, it has been working very fantastic with all the GSM networks SIM cards I have, though it is only Glo I do subscribe.
But, since last Saturday, 3rd November, 2012 till now (as I am posting this comment), after subscribing for One Week (50Mb), it has refused to connect. I always get this message on my screen: 'The PPP Link control protocol was terminated'. Except for my Glo PostPaid line I haven't tried yet, all my 3 Glo Prepaid lines are the same, no one is connecting among them. Other networks are connecting fine even when I do use the Glo Profile on my LG PC suite.

No mind that guy jor. Still unable to connect in Yola and my subscription is expiring tomorrow evening. I hope Glo will refund me.

I think they will do something about that... They are not like MTN.

They may not refund your money but an extension by calculation.

Finally, I am now using Glo on my laptop. A representative called me at 7:47PM this evening through 121, to inform me that, the internet issue on my line have been resolved. I tried it after the call and behold, it is now working perfectly. I called 121 back to tell them I'm now back on the net.
Although the network is very slow right now but, is yours working now? Share!!!!

I have not received any improvement yet ooo. I have even switched to MTN and not even good as well. I can only access some site and not all.

I am based in Yola, Adamawa State. I experienced interruptions yesterday evening as there was connection but no browsing. I called Customer Care and they told me their engineers are working on it. Now, it is back and I am enjoying it.

Yeah, mine connected yesterday but that after I had used MTN for some hours. But mine isnt fully back because browsing it with Mozilla firefox isnt working. I had to use Chrome, so I guess the network isnt fully functional yet.

I am using Firefox though the network is slow.

I have to be disconnecting and reconnecting my PC Suite as it is not working straight now. I don't really know what the issues are right now.

I'm sure about that as it takes ages to load pages for me.

The problem appears to cut across carriers. My MTN lines have been annoyance for nearly two months with browsing. Have called their customer care so many times that I've quit caring. Etisalat works fine, as does Airtel. I don't know about Glo. I'm in Aba.

By the way, what's Glo's Internet package like?

Glo seem to have created a separate website for their BlackBerry service www.gloworld.blackberry.com, as there is no information on their official website http://www.gloworld.com/home1.asp?usertype=1 concerning BlackBerry service.
However, you cannot setup your BlackBerry device directly from the website.
