begwong: There are two types of thread in Hausa. Zare - strong thread providing strength. ( like a string) Abawa - a softer thread with more cotton or wool on it suitable for proving cover( clothing) There is a Hausa radio discussion program called " Zare da Abawa" you can say literally " string and thread " for the same analogy NL discussion segment is called. "thread". |

There is a nice app by a Nigerian that you can use to learn the 3 languages. It is called Naijapedia. I think it is available on the blackberry app world for blackberry users and there is a link for other users. I will have to check for it and post it here! |
