Bleep ur outdated ageing university (oau)....imagine still on second semester,ur 4yrs is 6yrs in oau.

Is not too early for this thread. admission for 2012/2013 has closed since october 2012, we are in admission processing for 2013/2014 so if the school is not yet resumed for the 2012/2013 that is their business because others school has forgeted about 2012/2013 session they are thinking about 2013/2014.

According by the vice chancellor of obafemi awolowo university professor Bamitale omole the admission of 2013/2014 will be different from previous years. There will be two types of admission namely normal admission and distance learning admission. He added that the school is ready to admit 10000 more applicants to the 5600 admitted yearly of the 70000 candidates applying for the university on yearly basic. He said due to the different types of union groups of the university, the school is one of the slowest in nigeria and stated that he will try to disunion the school like they did in university of ilorin. "unilorin was in similar status before but when they disunion its it is one of the fastest university in nigeria today" he stated. He said there will be a total of 15600 admission for 2013/2014 in two different types because the school is one of the most preferred university in nigeria. Unilag alway has the highest applicant and also the most admiting university in nigeria. Out of the 85000 applicant applying for unilag yearly 11559 were always admitted which exclude second choice candidates while in oau-ife out of the 70000 candidate applying for admission yearly only 5600 will be admitted including second choice candidate he added that during is tenure which take effect in 2011 and will end in 2016 he will try is possible best to make the university among the top 10 in africa.

@oladele normal admission also known as {full time} means admission by jamb and post jamb which u will be on cumpus receiving lectures by face to face while distance learning is just like part time but not part time which u can be in ur house receiving lectures through your computer u don't need to be in the school cumpus before receiving lectures.
