MAYOWAAK:

The place of education can't be over -emphasised.Guess you know he holds a HND,mechanical engineering from Ibadan polytechnic.

Your response to @Jarus's comment shows that you lack basic reading comprehension - a skill usually acquired in primary school. Jarus has likened Odegbami to a veteran journalist. So what has HND got to do with it? Are you saying you are surprised a HND graduate knows how to write? Or are you saying that his writing is below par because he has HND? SMH

Before you display further ignorance out here, go back to your siblings and borrow their Macmillan or Oxford English textbooks. Reading stories about 'Ali and Simbi', 'Agbo and his friends', 'Wakama', 'Gandoki' etc and humbling yourself to receive instructions from the young ones may yet redeem you from your dismal and abysmal depth of ignorance. undecided

Dreams die first.
Mr Odegbami, who played the game to the highest level should know that what makes footy interesting is the fact that it is unpredictable.
On the other hand Nigeria is totally over rated in my books. Last title won in 1994.players with egos the size of aeroplanes with an exaggerated impression of their power. Do not expect anything from them and avoid high blood pressure.

Ivory-coast have always been favourites yet they fail to win it.
This is their best national team of all time.
If they do not win it,and this players who are already ageing retires, they may have lost their chance to win it for a long time.
Goodluck to ivory-coast,they deserve an AFCON trophy.
Up Nigeria.

Dn't mind Odegbami, His toothless team of the 80's could nt even qualify Nigeria for the world cup. He is speaking in the past.

Africa had only ONE SPOT at the world cup at the time, so its ridiculous holding that against the 80s team.

Who is this predictable nit-wit? about to kill his/her brain goodbye.Where in my comment did I say it was Odegbami's HND that bestowed on him his superb writing skills or lack thereof according to your convoluted line of reasoning?

If you care to know,I only highlighted it for those who are ignorant of his pedigree.

Go get a copy of Mastering English and First Aid in English from toddlers in your neighbourhood for the purpose of grasping the basic tenets of deductive reasoning.

Poor Odegbami.
His HND and superb writing skill and clairvoyance didn't work out tonight.
Proudly Nigerian
