What Are The Overall Benefits Of Human Death? by charlsecy4(m): 7:24pm On Nov 15, 2012 |
Population control: Imagine since the time of, say, Abraham, people never died, how many people would be on earth today?! Death is good in the sense that it provides space for the living, and resources "fairly" available. China has a population of over one billion people, and it's a very large task for the government to adequately cater for, that it had to impose a one-child family size. People in Chinese urban areas are legally allowed to have only one child; a person living in a rural area could have a second child ONLY if the first issue is female, and with some exceptions and considerations! Now, you can imagine if people didn't die, what greater mess the world would have been! Overpopulation! Food shortages, water scarcity, unimaginable debts, out-sized unemployment rate, colossal crime rate, environmental degradation, pollution, depletion of resources, wars, mass species extinction, outbreaks of diseases, restrictive laws, etc.. All the vices mentioned above are obtainable in our world today, but conjure up at what RATE they would have been available if people had not been dying! The world would have been, at BEST, a living hell, probably even worse. Manure to the soil: The human body is bio-degradable; when buried, it decays and contributes to the nutrients of the soil. Good soil gives good-quality harvests. What other GENERAL beneficial effects do you think human death provides? |
