The Prodigal Love by Nobody: 2:08pm On Nov 16, 2012
We had true love, We had it all.
We pleased the world, both big and small.
But while she gave, I took and smile.
Doing nothing but treat her with guile.

For months she sowed, for months she toiled.
And yet I took her love and soiled.
She tried to warn my jocund act
Was mauling badly, her tender heart.

Days went by, Distance came nigh.
Far and far apart we grew.
She would but once call me close by.
The more she did, the farther I flew.

Without words we parted, no byes, no cries.
She said 'Better that than to live with lies'
I waited but vain to see her flaw.
With her mind made up, no breach of law.

Months went by, the gulf grew deep.
All lust expelled, save lonliness' creep.
Busy mind I sought, my age asks mine
To provide for they who provided for thine.

Come when in solitude I lie,
In search of relief for tired soul.
Her face turns up, by and by,
Her smile, the fill to make me whole.

Then I said her plight be none.
To trouble me only when I'm alone.
The mind shooks head and spites my think.
Silence thee! For she alone to me is peace.

My heart, My soul, My whole she is.
Regret is naught but tricky ruin.
Admit my wrong and the soul's at ease.
Too late I hope not my show will seem.

Take My Heart and Take My Soul.
Take My Life and make it whole.
Take My Tears and let them know.
For loss of you, would it ever flow.
